before the reboot, i docked my apoc fully equipped at the station, and switched to my indie to get the ore i mined before.... after that reboot, i wanted to get one of the miner 2s and give it to a friend, but imagine my surprise when i opened the outfit panel, and my ship showed up empty.... stripped..
now, i just hope the petition will reach a gm and he can give me my items back... otherwise, i guess i am done with this game...  still, i will have my lawyer check for possible ways to get part of my 6month subscription fee back then...
damn.. what really buggs me is that i still love this game....

Let the class action threads begin. LOL. Good luck with the lawyer. I'm sure they will be very anxious to get started on your $60 recovery...especially since some of the parties are out of the country.

well.. you probably could, wouldnt it simply vanish from my ship..
and no, you cant have the ship, ill pack it full of explosives, and do a kamikaze gate blockade run...

Sorry if this appears like a flame, it's not intended.
How much did you lose?
Btw - clear cache + relog first, people have had this issue before with invisible stuff.
If I lost all my ships and all my equip, I'd stay, as I would see no reason to quit just because of it. I'd become really angry or so, but it's definately more fun to get new stuff than to quit!
Even more off topic:
When people are yelling that they're going to quit because their char is like a completely new one because they logged in on chaos (duh!), something must be seriously wrong. Flaming and whining must be easier than checking the basic stuff yourself, I suppose.
Again I say, all of this post is NOT about you, so don't flame me because of the last part.

Paying for 6 months is your own damn fault. You will still have access to the game during the remaining time, so if you don't use it, you don't have a legal leg to stand on.

John, no offence taken, personally i am 100% flameproof, which means, if some looney comes over with the flamethrower, i dont bother 
not that i thought your post to be flaming anyways
on a sidenote, after i restarted the game for the 5th time, suddenly all the items are in place where they belong.... so i guess i do not have to go into any further detail for mjr tom on how to sue CCP for not delivering a service the way it was agreed 
oki.. off to bed now, im allready way to long awake, and i got some important exam today...

lol thats an easy thing to glean
non delivery can be theft of services very easily.
now being as its overseas,the action would simply go toward blockin US activity,or sueing the US distributor or threatening it till they drop the game.
and if enough of a pattern of non delivery can be shown over a period of time,with many customers being denied reasonable services,then a class action isnt actually as obsurd as it sounds.
man i get bored when im stuck ingame and out here postin
