Kaleeb listened carefully to the report coming through his private galnet channel.
"This is Mohann of the Matari navy, bombadier squadron. We have come under heavy fire from a combined task force of amaarian and caldari battleships and request immediate backup"
"Lieutenant woods patch me through to Arnold,Kaeten and the other commanders" Kaleeb said.
A faint *****le could be heard resonating from the communication officers terminal.
"Gentlemen we must aid our matari brothers" Kaeten said without hesitation.
" Although further reports have indicated an amaarian mothership travelling with task force."
Each commander in turn nodded his approval which Kaleeb was thankful for, he liked the Matari ways which compared to his adopted Gallente heritage.
It had been several years since Kaleeb had escaped maximo high security prison in Ohvosamon and since then he had extracted a heavy toll on the corupt Caldari people.
"Commander? Commander?...."
Kaleeb snapped back to attention and cursed himself for his lack of concentration
"What it is private!" Kaleeb snapped back not remembering the privates name fed his anger further.
The private jumped at the outburst and splurted
"Commander Kaetan has asked all ships be ready to warp to FD-MLJ on his order Sir!"
"Make it so" Kaleeb said
(An hour passes slowly)
"Prepare to jump into FD-MLJ on my orders" Kaetan said
"Megathrons form up into attack positions, and I want Dominix's providing ECM and drone support from behind"
"Jump"
Kaleeb watched as the stars spun and exploded infront of him as the jump was completed. Glancing down at his navi computer he noticed the Amaar/Caldari location coordinates uploaded from Mohaan.
"Mohann reports that the remaining Matari bombardier squadron can provide us with longer range alpha strike support once we have engaged" Arnold reported
"Blitzkrieg squadron warp into your coordinates at 40km and process to engage all hostiles, Manfreds Scorpian is primary its imperative we knock out their EW support"
Kaleeb engaged his Megathrons warp drive and shuddered at the Colosus's slow acceleration speed, those gallente engineers really needed a kick.
Murmurs of discomfort came from somewhere behind him as kaleebs tactical overview filled with ten hostile battleships. Eclipsing his front viewport loomed the massive aeon mothership!
"Ok gentlemen form up with the rest of blitzkrieg and engage microwarpdrive engines at full speed to manfred" Kaleeb said
Streaming out from either side in a rough "lance formation"
formation came four other megathrons all powering towards their targets.
Time seemed to stop for Kaleeb as laser blasts echoed around him. One of the megathrons to his far left exploded in a burst of plasma flame from the heavy bombardment.
"Shields down to 45% sir"
"keep her steady, she can take alittle more" Kaleeb smiled
"Concentrate firing of all blasters and drones immediatly on manfred"
The battle roared and the tides were beginning to change as the Gallente megathrons unleashed their tremendous close range blasters on their foes.
*****les of insane laughter filtered over the comline and Kaleeb realised the Matari had joined the battle and were taking out years of slavery on the Amaarian dogs.
One by One the Caldari and Amarian battlehsips were destroyed leaving only the gargantuan Aeon. Few ships had been lost by Blitzkrieg squadron and this could only be attributed the the excellent skills of Arnolds Dominix which had been heavily modified to incorporate a large ammount of sensor dampning units.
Without support the Mothership was rendered helpless and quickly fell to the combined fire of all 10 remaining battleships. Kaleeb briefly wondered how many lives had been lost on that beast.
"Gentlemen we have accomplished the unthinkable, not only have we rescued our matari comrades but we destroyed the amaarian aeon mothership. This is a huge setback and loss of face to the Amarian people well done"

This battle is ongoing on the test server and all are welcome. Just join the ingame channel "faction battle" and receive more details.
It was alot of fun with each side having roughley 10 battleships and a few support with the amaar bringing a mothership.
If this is even a hint of faction warfare then I for one cant wait until Kali.
Gf guys and I hope my story did our small but great fun battle some justice.

Oh nicly written 
was a nice clean fight. We killed em all plus the mothership without losing anything.
Would like to thank everyone for following my orders, we tottaly owned them.

omg was is "c r a c k l e" a bad word and blocked out?
I thought we lost something? o well I think the amaar/caldari side needed ts tbh but its sure beats the hell out of a bubbled sniping FFA2

No worries, but I'm at work and thought my corp had just been wtfpwned. I even went straight to the killboard.

Will organise another 1 for maybe sunday evening at around 7pm eve time or something. If peeps are interested mail me or post here so we can get numbers.
This time we could perhaps add a senario or objective for 1 side to reach.
