What's wrong with this picute (ccpsucks.jpg) nStuff?
I will tell you what.. I DO already have a waypoint set to the system it's referring to.. But because autopilot waypoints get mixed up when you set a waypoint to a system you were reciently docked at, this **** happens.
If relogging the game fixes the problem. It's easy for you guys to fix it in the code. When a player reaches his final waypoint. Make sure the data saved in the settings folder IS REMOVED because it's really stupid we have to relog the game to remove this ****.
Hire some real programmers.

Don't tell me to shutup *****. I will beat your ass. oh.. Stupid ass. Don't read my posts if they bother you.. Trolling little *****.
These are bug reports.. What you really meant to say is you didn't realize there were so many problems with the game.
And no.. Jumping to the next system is not 100% affective.. In most cases it's still mixed up after doing that. same thing with opening the map if you can even pull that one off.
Do not try to tech support me as my skills far surpass your own, newbie.

You don't even have to do a manual jump to the next system, just turn off autopilot, set a different destination, reset your destination and turn ap back on, takes a few seconds.
edit: oh, and do that bleech thing too.

This is a temporary fix.. If your doing agent missions where your constantly heading back to the same system your agent is in after every successful mission.. You end up having no choice but to relog.
Come on.. Stop with the fanboi crap.. This is such an easy fix. I will come and resolve it for a plane ticket and a six pack.. jesus christ.

I've gotta agree that this bug is a real PITA tho.
I'd trade a lot of other bugfixes in favour of this one bubbling it's way up to the top of priority pile.
Has it even been acknowledged by CCP yet?

CCP and half the fanboi's playing, all think it's been fixed already. They are satisfied with half-fast solutions I believe. If it were acknowledged by CCP, I promise not to post on it anymore. But until that time. I will keep up with these friendly reminders. Specially when my fun turns into hassle.

No?

It's just a game I pay for. And it's jacked up.
You act like i'm bent out of shape because i'm losing or something. I'm talking about putting in my quarter and the game not working. There is a difference, and you can't really use the "it's a game" card for this one.
My friends are usually hanging out here eating my food. So they are pretty much aware of the issues with this POS game.
Do not presume to know my level of stress on the issue. Find someone else to bother, stop reading my posts.

LOL, these workarounds sound so funny...
Here is what you sound like:
Autopilot not working is no big deal, you can fix it really easily, here is what you do: change your destination to the second to the last system on your route, then back to the original destination, then to the system you start the game in, then stand on your head, then turn around 3 times, bark like a dog, scream at CCP as loud as you can even if your neighbor downstairs is sleeping, set your destination to the system next to you with the F11 map, open the big map, close the big map, open the big map again, set the big map to players in space, create a new bookmark to the system next to you, delete the bookmark, stand on your head again, turn on auto pilot and you should be on your way. ----------------------------------------- Sig rented by Drethen Nerevitas. |

Edited by: Kashre on 22/09/2003 03:38:09 Yeah, the workarounds are annoying Lola, but they arent THAT bad.
The game has plenty, even too many problems, but if his waypoints not working is enough to cause this tool to lash out like that, he needs some decaff. +++
It's called "low security space" for a reason. |

I have had minimal problems for months.. My account has just been automatically renewed for another three months. And i've had nothing but problems for the last 5 days of this renewal. The game has been completely flipped on it's axis and i'm currently ****ed off about it. It's so bad right now, if my account hadn't just been renewed. I probably would have cancelled.
The known bugs page has like 10 bugs listed on it. Right now, I can name like 30 more bugs backwards on one foot with my head back while touching my nose.
Save your stupid ass played out question for someone else. I have every right to ***** about this crap. It's stupid. These bugs are beyond anything i've ever seen. And again, if you don't like it, stop clicking on my threads. Don't expect my attitude towards this to let up any time soon.

What makes you think my hate for CCP is stemmed from the waypoint thingy? Everything is screwed up right now. It's not just the waypoints. I just don't like the fact this hasn't been resolved. The DEVs were clearly aware of it at one time. Now what? It's an easy fix.. Yet it's still broken.
Tune in tomorrow while I whine about the stupid ass scrollbar some more.
Don't call me tool, fool.

I like how you flamers use your alternates. What's the point? You don't get brownie points for insults if your not really being yourself. No one will ever really know that it was you who called Mr nStuff the Great a crybaby.

*yawn* There's nothing to see here folks, move along.
Oh, I will add something... Simpler workaround: Set a destination anywhere along your route and set a second waypoint for your actual destination. __________________________________________________________________________ May I recommend a Cybernetic Subprocessor?.. Actually it is to big It doesnt have to stretch the table to be to big
The size limits for signature graphics are:
120 pixels MAXIMUM height 400 pixels MAXIMUM width 15 kb MAXIMUM file size 30,000 pixels MAXIMUM area
Your sig is 46.7 kb big and 329x266 pixels Thus making it 87514 pixels total, nearly 3 times as large as is allowed
Now go sit down and stop trying to act tough infront of the big boys

EVE is what you make of it, if your bored go do something else.
If your not happy then report the problem in a civilzed manner.
Being rude and abusive will actually distract people from your real problem, and draw focus to your whining attitude.
Be nice and people will like and help you.
