I guess a pirate corp called Jokers, attacked me at a gate while I was traveling...
They had 2 scorpion and 1 bb pilot, trying to kill me.
Outcome: They had to run due to heavy damage on 2 of the ships. One of the scorpions had lost 50% of its armor. I lost less than 10% of my shield. And safely jumped continuing my trip.

Admittelly, you caught us unprepared. You could even go further and say "with your pants down":
- We just had a system warning that the server was rebooting in 12 minutes.
- We warped to the gate that would bring us to our base station so that we could log for the server restart. We did this without paying too much attention to the local channel and we didn't coordinate our warps as we are used to.
- We saw you at the gate and ignored you completely. You claim that we were "trying to kill" you but actually you locked on me and started firing without any provocation on our part. It's all fair and game of course: in another situation (without the server about to go boom) I would have attacked you indeed. Just correcting your statement that is obviously made up with the intention of making you look cooler.
- Our "tactical" pilot (the one with all the webifiers, scramblers etc) was late in the warp-in for the reasons stated above. And your move of MWDing 80km away while leaving the drones on one of our ships was a sound one. Not exactly the "I will ownerize your sorry ass" type of approach that one could imagine reading your post... but still a good move.
In short, congrats on how you performed there. It was our mistake not to be ready for the engagement.
Sure enough, should we come to the board and go bully about every single fight we win, we would be awarded the "Spammers or the Year" or the even more appealing "Trolls of the Century" in a few days.

Good to hear about this. Sorry they didn't loose any ships though.
Actually the Jokers, Jexter and Fist at the time (both positive sec), seem to be very coordinated. I should know because I was one of their practice objects a while back. It was in Obe and I was in a Badger mk II going to 0.0 space for some mining. My escort jumped first (bad move), after checking that the gate was clear, and they webbed my slow indy 2km from the jump radius. Funny thing is I couldn't see them until it was too late. Grid exploit or pure luck of warping in in just the right moment, I don't know. Instead of trying to warp away I thought I could reach the gate in time, no suck luck. Boy did I go down fast! My escort doubled back but they where gone in under a minute, with some fairly good expanders I suppose. GG.
Next time I see you guys I hope the joke is on you.

I left my drones there because they were like 130KM away (some were incap from a torpedo you fired at me). Too far from me to wait for them, and server was going down. If I really cared about my drones I would have picked them up. You ran not me.

I'm glad you got to come on the forum and jerk off your ego, but I'm about to clean up your scizum. People fight each other all the time in EVE, and in every battle there has to be 1 side that wins and 1 that loses. What makes you so special that you can come up here and waste the forum space with something that only you give a damn about? I wouldnt be suprised if you were just so overjoyed that you actually didnt die for once that you ran straight to the forums.
I must also put some focus on his banner...backing up my ego theory...fast strong dumb ugly...kill the fast and strong...replace with lucky and naive...you would probably be the type of person who trips on the curb but instead of landing on your face you land in the chest of some big breated woman.

I don't brag about my victories, I just wanted to let people know with what type of skill they are dealing with when they come across jokers, I have fought many fights, and many outhere know this, I never bragged about it on forums. My ego is fine without people telling me how great I am. My signature says Dumb and Ugly, so do I sound like a person who cares about what others think?

We do not use alts to post as Jokers, or Jokers fans Sir (they are not a crowd believe me) , maybe this is your policy. But rest assured it's not ours.
We're not afraid to take accountability for actions, be it a lucky action or a lost fight. Ask our clients.;)
For us, fun, and good play, are the keys.
NO Joker member (and we are really few... just four, no mistery here) have never whined or nothing about loosing a fight or a ship. These are the risk of our "Activity" dear Sir, and we do perfectly know them.
We can accept it (it may come as a surprise to you Sir, but we all are above the critical barrier of the 18:)) and we also agreed on you having a nice reaction that evening (i was not there... but i can read:)).
I can assure you that many people in this region didn't had the same readiness or luck you showed. I don't really care if you decide to believe it or not. Who usually flies around that zone knows us (more or less). And sure, we're not M0O nor Sinister or RUS, but if we must blow up your ship we do know how to do it, no biggy really.
If you decide to come back and have some fun with us feel free to come by, and we will see what we can do to entartain you Sir.:)
By the way, you see i'm a Joker and i have no problem to show it, if you think the previous post was a disguised Joker well... you may also think about not being so popular... no?;)

i really dont understand the point of this part.......
you dont get to choose when you are pirating and when you are "minding your own busness"
the second a person/corp pirate's a single ship then you are pirates 24/7......after you commit that single crime then you are fair game....
somewhat supprised to see the Jokers on the forum crying.....always held Jexter in high regard...after the very polite and efficient way he liberated my ISK's....
dosnt mean im no going to KOS when i see you....
even if you are minding you own busness....
can be taking yer granney to the hospice for a hip replacement for all i care.
dont care if your midning you own busness or not.........

He says he was being killed by us, wich, in my vocabulary, means he was locked, and under fire. Wich is a blatant lie. That's all.
He locked onto some of us, and he attaccked first, and this is all well and good, this is the game. More power to him. I'm not saying that nobody must shoot on us.
We usually spend our entire evenings shooting at-being shoot. Is this clear enough now?

I assumed that you tried to kill me, since you are pirates and that's the gate you camp. Wouldn't anyone?
Do you realize how stupid and funny that sounds, "oh but he fired first, we were cought with our pants down.". It is just making you look incompetent. I was only one it is not like a fleet attacked you... 3 vs. 1.
When I looked at your ships I had a pretty good idea of what kind of setup you had.
The fact that I fired first was a deffensive measure, I made you run, so I can continue traveling. And it turns out it was a good decision on my part.
The fact is you tried to kill me, otherwize, if you were still traveling you would have proceded with jumping the gate, from wich I was 100KM away. So yes, you tried to kill me! Didn't you? lol Bad decision on your part.
The second ship I damaged I started shooting way after I was released from target jam. So again You Tried To Kill Me.
I never warp scrambled nor stasis webed anyone, your passage was free. Yet you tried to kill me and failed, having to run away, that's all.
Again I didn't post this because I want to receive any credit from other players, I stormed many pirate camped gates, for adrenaline rush, never once did I brag about it on forums. I post it because I thought the entire incident was funny, given the name of your corporation. And I wanted to share it with others.

Presidio what solar system did this happened at. That way I'll have my ship prepared for combat, and good thinking in making the first move in attacking them.

It appears, somewhat unfortunately, that we have not had the pleasure of a rematch since that skirmish in Vale of the Silent a few months back. Score's still 1:0 in your favour, I'm afraid...
Just something I wanted a little clarification on, assuming you still remember the incident. Captain Kharesh' ship was the tragic casualty of the encounter, but I didn't really catch what happened after you jumped us and we scrambled for the gate...a little clarification for the grudge-holder, please?

Forgive me but my memory betrays me... So many months have passed and so many fights. I do remember a very nice skirmish indeed, and a very entertaining discussion after that. I kind of miss the good fellows of Obe and P3N I must admit. I wonder if we have been away for too long.
