dj lightning	Posted - 2006.05.20 14:13:00 - [1] NBSI is joining BoB. OK, OK, just kidding! ;) NBSI Alliance has been disbanded. It's been a great run. NBSI had its origins with Black Lance [TMPL], Euphoria Released [E-R] and Maza Nostra [M4Z4] fighting side by side through the fall of Xetic Alliance and, later, flying together through the hectic days of the Vale Alliance. Our informal cooperative was eventually forged into an in-game Alliance, when we joined with the Phoenix Alliance to forcefully claim Tenal from Xelas. NBSI then settled down for an extended time in the North, venturing forth periodically to look for targets - including the first dread kill of the game during a conflict with -V-. Over time NBSI added several new member corporations while, sadly, losing E-R and M4Z4 to their urge to roam, though we never lost the support of our fellow founders. As we all know, in early 2006 a series of conflicts began when the Forsaken Empire changed allegiance and sided with The Five. At the end of the day, every northern alliance in Eve was changed, including the instigators. The Phoenix Alliance, IRON, G Alliance, Forsaken Empire, The Five and NBSI Alliance all splintered, reformed and emerged from the chaos. A new map of Eve was drawn. We took some time for R&R in Lower Syndicate, which thanks to OSS/Goonies has been a riotous slaughter, but NBSI Alliance has run its course. We'd like to thank BoB. No, wait, forget that! We'd like to thank Cartiff, E-R, Parity and M4Z4 for their ongoing friendship, despite a difficult parting of ways in the midst of the Alliance's lifespan. We'd like to thank all the other corps that joined in the project of NBSI during its existance, including longstanding members OCC and Galaxian - we had great times flying with you all. We'd like to thank Light Darkness, for bringing out that first dread and providing one of the hilights of the many great battles that we've had as a group. We'd even like to thank ASCN/Axe and the former 5, in particular, for providing us with such great roleplaying opportunities as our sworn enemies. Black Lance will be joining the other original NBSI founders in D2. DJ

We've all gone through changes of mind regarding goals and ways to achieve them, we've had some disagreements in the past, but most of all we've had some great times flying together and keeping each other's six clean for far too long to let all that mayhem and slaughter fade into obscurity (damn,that's one long sentence! ) D¦ has been a great venture for us so far and has even helped me understand where we took wrong turns with NBSI. All members are free to do whatever they like. It's just that there is something motivating in the air so that everything is done with a common goal in mind and the alliance has a very diverse member base. I think you guys are going to fit in just fine. I'm really looking forward to a session of the famous roaming gang in crappy t1 ships aka Black Lance tard squad

Cartiff, thanks for taking a chance on me and letting me join E-R even though I was a pvp noob. Hell, I never did get very uber but I learned a lot and had fun and made good friends. Flying with you guys was a riot. DJ, what can I say except <3 ya. We've been through good times and tough times and I appreciate the trust you've given to me. I've never regretted for a moment joining Black Lance and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of its history in Eve. Bye NBSI. Hello D2.

Would like to say thx to 5 and V for the fun E-R when we were in NBSI.. All E-R members is damm proud to have been in the ultimate pvp alliance not blue shoot it:).. And shot we did we were in wars 24/7 and had loads of fun.. Most DJ thx for all you hardwork m8..

Yes we were very good at that since most people just keep ratting and dont check locals. dont blame the players blame the game.. However NBSI could fight you can ask any1 who we have ever fought... The NBSI invasion of GW quickly spring to my mind and we had loads of fun there against V and got alot of respect for V and we still do.

And there are a lot of corps who flew under the NBSI flag if only briefly. OCC, Galaxian, S.A.S, Bridgeburners, Atomic Battle Penguins and more. It was a pleasure flying with all of you. But times change and it's good to have Black Lance with us in D2. Welcome aboard!
