The oldest and most common tactic in any MMO for downing a target is and always will be zerging it. Only problem is it requires very little skills. That is SA and there coallition versus FIX. Look at the killboards FIX inflicted comparable dmg to the coallition versus the dmg they did to us. But yet we are outnumbered 5 to 1.
So celebrate your temporary victory over FIX. But know that you showed very little skill.
I can tell ya all propagandaish BS aside I amd most of our alliance mates are proud. We took it on the chin from everything you could manage to throw against us. And we fought you back everystep of the way. We dont have our stations true but one thing you could not manage to take from us is our self-respect and pride.
See you all on the battlefield !

Manfred, I give props to those of you who put up a fight, but dude, your killboard is missing SO many losses I can understand why you might feel that way. I'd say maybe half of the kills I have seen and frapsed are actually on your boards, and that's being generous. Not talkin trash or sayin none of your guys put up a fight, but I wouldn't rely on your killboards. As for Bob... They came in, there was a great fight with heavy losses and very even numbers on both sides (about 120 Bob to 110 of us roughly) and ultimately they moved off before we did, and lost a larger chunk of BS. They came back several times and sniped off many support, losing BS now and then as well. After hours of fighting, many of the Bob started logging as they're Euros so fighting started to die down. But make no mistake, they took a beating no matter what the BS they may post on the forums. Both sides also lost cap ships. We lost one more, but the loot left on the battlefield for us was pretty damn nice and will likely cover the cost of a cap ship.

That is a bit of an understatement, I checked SA, Imp and HF's killboards before I went to bed (about 4 hours ago  ) and we were missing just 11 support losses and no BS losses from our killboard (which will be posted as soon as the pilots involved get spanked).
Local peaked at 230ish and our gang fluctuated between 60 and 80 all day.
I think you can work the rest out.

He is talking about FIX not BoB. FIX is trying to justify their loss by saying that it took no skill to kill them and that the losses were equal. Edgewise is correcting them by saying the losses were not equal.
In the end FIX lost their stations and their space and it really doesn't matter how much skill was required.

As always, if you don't see a loss posted for FIX, after 24h, then send the killmail to their CEO. It will be posted.
Killboards will never tell the whole story; example: I had guys suiciding ships undocking from 9CG station so that they could collect the insurance, get a quick trip to empire, and get refitted so they could get into action elsewhere.
Yup, they got killed, and it counts.... I like killboards, but if you think that they decide the outcome of wars, you're mistaken.

So I didnt post a dread loss, big ******* whoop. Having had so much fun getting it destroyed I couldnt be arsed to post the kill till this morning. Shoot me. As far as I am concerned killboards are meaningless and frankly boring. I never post my kills or losses. Does this make me a bad person?
I especially enjoy not providing gankers with kill mails when NPCs get the final blow, and only cos it winds em up a treat.

I'd just like to say thanks to all the lovely boys and girls in Q. Love em or hate em, I think we're all learning a few tricks... Best one has been: surest way to get into a fight is to make sure you're outnumbered!
Level of required outnumberage varies depending on who you're fighting, but I'll be a dimpled lemon if I'm going to go back to being a merchant any time soon.
SA, HF + etc. cheers for the fighting and forcing a whole load of softies like me to convert to PvP  As long as we can all buy new ships and get them wantonly blowed up, I don't really care for killboards.
I didn't see Romans (I was there) waving their killboard at the Huns and shouting "You filthy louts haven't posted that dude we hit with a pot of flaming tar last weekend! You sux0rz! Now die muchly!". Nope, cos that dude was dead whether he or anyone else knew about it. (Pls don't flame - that it was just an excuse for the analogy!)
BoB cheers for the repeated laughs  Nothing like watching an entire fleet empty its bowels simultaneously when local blips. Heh, when FIX decided to drop the politicking and concentrate on the fightin' I think we all remembered why BoB does what it does - it be fun (yarr). Here endeth the lesson.
