So here I am running missions for my local minmatar agent. I've been quite sucessfull and I now have -5.02 with amarr and -5.22 with Amattar.
How the **** do I raise my standings with them?

1 If you still have access to a minm agent run missions with him. That will raise Amar.
2 If you care about Amar standing NEVER take a mission from your agent where you have to attack Amar ships.
Wherever you went - here you are.

Also, when you get important storyline missions, take them and then fail them on purpose. Your standings will drop, thereby increasing your standing with the opposite races.
My Gallente standings were around 7, and my Caldari and Amarr were below -5, making me KOS. I trained diplomacy to raise them above -5, and have been failing my Gallente storylines on purpose. My Amarr is now around -1.4, and Caldari are at -2.4. I now have access to low level Amarr agents, so I can start running missions with them which will raise my Caldari and Amarr standings as I complete Storyline missions for them.
Course, it lowers my Min and Gall ratings.

how about just picking a side and fighting for it? I have negative Caldari and Amar standings because of the missions, so I am KOS for both those factions. But you know what? I never go into their space, and never plan to.
I personally like it that way, makes me feel like I am actually immersed in the game, since I have chosen my side and have completly cut myself off from those regions of space.

I was sitting at -6.04 Caldari State until I just trained Diplomacy 1...now my standing is -5.40. I need Diplomacy 3 for political connections...I'll post my standings again at Diplomacy 3.

Caldari State is now -4.11...so a nice little increase with Diplomacy 3 from -6.4

He's a member of Ushra'Khan. They're living south of Derelik. That's Ammatar space, next to Amarr space. If he wants to have any chance to go anywhere in any timely fashion, he has to raise his Ammatar standing back to 4.99 or better. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known.
