How about this. For all the people WHO DONT LIKE profanity, a PROFANITY FILTER.
EDIT: This is also a feature for those parents who have their 10-14 year old kids playing this game instead of being outside exercising and playing, instead letting them to grow up to be lazy ******es like myself <.<
You can toggle this thing on and off to replace 'harmful' language with more softcore ****.
**** = Fudge
****** = Fudged
***** = Beesh
Mother****** = Fudge Mother
**** = ****zle
****** = Nizzle
*****a = Crizzle
Beaner = Bizzle
etc. etc.
People WHO CAN handle the use of bad words in local can disable this and take the brunt of it, because we know language is language and only people who say words are bad, are the ones who make the words bad

geesh.. i like ppl that says nasty stuff.. i dont like the idea... but im a very offensive languaged danish guy... hmm i guess its a good idea... as long as it can be toggeled off and is off by default.. eve is suppose to look better and more realistic than the whuss game wow.. and no matter what u say i dont like 10-13 yr olds play mmorpgs...

profanity filters are so annoying because they don't even work right most of the time. i can't say stuff like "you can allow it" in some games and it blocks me, or *'s out what im saying. having a malfunctioning profanity filter go off is one of the most annoying things in a game, aside from CTD and such.
if its ever implemented, allow us to turn it OFF, thank you. the user can opt to filter what the user receives, rather then having a universal filter monitoring what everyone sends.

lol..think thats bad, u should check out RO's profanity filter...
it blocks (and bans if u say it too often) words like Japan, china, earth, noob, newb, etc (more than half of the words blocked are harmless words)
It also blocks words that happen to have the same letters as a word above, or somethign similar (no oblisk would get blocked, since it is Noob with lisk beside it)
A normal paragraph of chatter always ends up with a bunch of annoying *s censoring everything out...
Thank god for Eve's relaxed system :)
