Deklein, The North
Days after the Imperial Republic of the North relinquished control of Deklein, a new coalition body was formed to manage the region. Several alliances took part in securing the region so that all could prosper together. Unfortunately, sinister hands within the official NFC alliance sought to take advantage of their new found power and force the unwarranted, and immediate removal of the Freelancer Alliance (FLA) from Deklein.
The FLA, though KOS to BURN EDEN, were lead by some old friends from days gone past. This, combined with the apparent backstabbing by NFC leaders, lead to BURN EDEN becoming involved in the conflict on the side of FLA. While FLA had been locked out of all Deklein station, several POS remained. This would be the staging point for BURN EDEN operation in Deklein. One by one the powers came and left wondering why things had suddenly got a lot more difficult. This war will be remembered not for any great fleet battle, but for the continuous small engagements that always seemed to fall in our favour.
Within a week, a plan was hatched to re-capture the 3JN refinery station. Alektrophobia Alliance entered the arena on our side at this point in time. With such a large number of experienced PVP pilots, the siege of 3JN was destined to be a great victory. Though outnumbered heavily in the early part of the day, NFC numbers began to fall until they were low enough for our fleet to score a decisive victory.
After 3JN was captured, FLA diplomats were seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict. But NFC leaders, who Caldari scientists recently discovered were offspring of an affair between Orc A and XirtamVOTF, refused fair and generous offers of peace. Further pressure was added in the form of ganksquads to the JU/VFK area, with BE even topping the NFC's own killboard.
Finally, our side was poised to launch a simultaneous assault on the NFC's final two stations. A final warning was given and NFC members finally got through to their leaders and a peace deal was settled. Diplomat [POKE]FragM was quoted as saying: "This is how we do things on my watch".
A conflict born out of misdeeds was won by the forces of good. Citizens everywhere are now aware that there is still hope for lost souls throughout the galaxy, that no action is unpunishable and that real friendships are a scarce commodity indeed.
The region of Deklein is returned to tranquillity, our forces are leaving, enemies are now working together and order is restored.
An ISS scout in EC-P8R spotted a fleet of BURN EDEN Ravens heading South.
