Gladly!
Right click on your CNR and select "place sell order". Then go fly a standard raven for a while until you know how to fit a faction one. ------------------------------------------- "Never underestimate the power of language."

As for the original question, yeah so its a Caracal. With extra lows. You put SPRs or BCUs in your extra lows, depending on what you're doing with it. That wasn't very tough now, was it? (Or hell, faction/T2 PDUs. Shrug)

Dont listen to them all, they havent got a clue. I can tell you what to do with it.
Basically, since its a faction ship, you dont really need to fit anything on it, caus it will pwn anyway. But what you have in cargohold is very imporant! I'd say do this: buy and put a few estamel's modified invulnerability fields, maybe a centum a-type energized adaptive nano as well. Then a deimos or ishtar blueprint would really make a difference. And some pirate implant set (must be a full set and not low-grade, otherwise it wont work!!).
Now to make it all work, open escrow, select "enter items into escrow", choose the station where your caracal is, select it, write my name in the name field, put 0.0 isk as price and hit submit. Send me an evemail when you do that, and I can promise you, if you do it all correct, You are going to win Eve!! ------ Originally by: Gazon In any case, the whole affair had one lasting effect: Awarding Stormriders the label of ridiculous drug addicts with a tendency towards utterly foolish actions.

Just seems a bit odd. The slot layout is almost identical to the non-faction ship, so you just duplicate a mod of your non-faction setup into it.
Where's the difficulty in that?

aren't we the helpful lot? bunch of self-righteous *****s. faction ships can be quite different from their plain jane brethren due to different pg/cpu or slot layout. either shut up or post something that shows you are a normal thinking human being.

Perhaps because it has more than just another low slot, it also has almost 50% more pg but the same cpu, approx 2x the shield and armor, a slightly better cap(cap increased 29.4%, cap recharge increased 28.8%), its slower, it also has 6 highs but only 5 launcher points and 2 new low slots. So while you could port over a cookie cutter caracal setup, perhaps someone has come across a setup that takes advantages of this unique ship.

I helped, and now you're just slinging insults at me?
Take a Caracal fit, double on BCU/PDS as you prefer, and fit whatever you like in the last high (turret, nos, tractor, etc.).
For every non-pirate faction ship, the fitting is just an extension of the non-faction fitting. The stats aren't sufficiently different to warrant a redesigned offense, tank, etc.

Edited by: madaluap on 21/05/2006 14:33:21 Its a freacking caracal with most importantly 2 extra lows, how tough can that be? ram some extra PDU in it and thats it, or extra balistic controls oooor you get really funky and fit 4 stabs...
/edit: if it has extra pg just fit a nos in the extra highslot....or a gun or a tractor beam... _________________________________________________

2 lows and 5 mids = Shield tank. 4 lows and 5 mids = Amour or shield tank.
An armour tanked caracal is significantly different to a shield tanked caracal, and would have room for lots of nice EW.
But I'd struggle to fit out a caracal by anything other than trial and error since I don't have Caldari skills, so I can't help you there. Instead I'll leave you to the yapping dogs who can no doubt score some forum points by coming out with a decent EW/armour tanking navy caracal setup.
P.s. lots of extra powergrid, does that mean plates, or nosses? That's more options opened.
