I believe CCP checked up on it and found no such user
the email/post is very similiar to an EQ one that's been around for a long time.

Sounds like to BS to me.
Even if it isn't, that kid had bigger troubles than losing his Eve account if he committed suicide.

it is probly a urban legend. i even heard of a kid that susided after lousing his +3 implant set.
like i say if there is any truth we would hear about it from a "real" news media |

No doubt many politicians would *love* to use the demonization of MMOs and electronic gaming in general to further their ambitions, so no doubt we'd be being beaten in the streets with headlines about this were it so.

Kieran already commented on this a while back, iirc they trid to check it out - i.e contacted the morgue there or similar, but didn't find any thing conrete.
So take it with a pinch of salt, wouldnt be the first time someone had pulled this stunt.
