A serious case of darwinism got to me today.
I copying bookmarks for a corpmate when I wanted to delete all the bookmarks I made, so i did select all and trash it.
The moment I pressed ok to confirm something started to dawn on me...
I had just trashed the POS that was also sitting in my hangar atm.
1 amarr control tower small
1 corporate hangar array
1 coupling array
1 silo
1 moon harvester
all gone.
130 mil of corp isk down the drain.
so come here to laugh at me and if you happen to know of a way to retrieve items that you trashed (I hear they stay in the server database until downtime?) please do share.
If I sell my geddon and rtetribution Ive got 80 mil which means I need to find a way to get 50 mil asap to repay for my serious ****up.

You might want to click on the petition button ingame and use the "ask a question" route, so you can ask a GM if they can retrieve it.
Sorry to hear about your loss, i dont know how much can be done apart from that

I was in the channel when you said that. Yowch. I cringed and then I laughed non-stop for a few minutes. I don't mean to laugh at someone else's misfortune but the idea of trashing a control tower, however misfortunate, is hilarious ^^;

Hate to tell you that you're probably not going to get reembursed... no matter how much you petition or ask politely. That really sucks, mate. One can only live and learn I suppose... Had I known before I went on a ship buying spree last night... I would've helped fix the dent a bit. Sorry bout the bad timing...

oh noes! Definately petition that, maybe the GMs will feel sorry for you and undelete the items for you. They don't have to, but maybe you'll get lucky.

I've done similar.
I was two-boxing my main and hauler while doing some 0.0 hunting. I only have one PC so I was alt-tabbing.
Well, anywho normally I'd keep the main around while the alt picks up loot, and not move on till the alt safespots.
As the alt was moving to the last cluster of cans, I warped my main to the next belt and engaged a lucrative spawn. I'm happily chugging along, kill the spawn, and alt-tab to the hauler to move her to the new collection of junk...
OH MY GOD
I FORGOT TO CHECK ON THE HAULER!!!
So, yeah, I tabbed over just in time to watch the Iteron V full of secure cans asplode. Then I remembered...
OH MY GOD
ALL MY BACKUP GEAR WAS IN THE HAULER!!!
Whole can of T2 modules and stuff -- gone. Like 200m worth of stuff overall.

Yep been there, did that exact same thing, but only lost a Covert Ops cloak. It wasnt too bad as they only cost 25mill at the time.
Sorry for your loss though.

"Recycle Bin" anyone? It works when you delete characters...
It could appear as another button on the bottom-right of the station screen.

I've been in a chat channel where someone reprocessed a Local Hull mod cargo spander with other loot...
yeah... must suck to dump out a POS though

yea or move the buttons away from each ffs, i've pressed that reprocess character a few times, god forbid waking up after a heavy saturday night in amsterdam all fogged out and pressing the wrong button lol.
