I think a thread like this should be stickied. It should be the location where people who are disgruntled, upset, and are leaving should post, then indicate why so we can be given the opportunity to ask them for their stuff.
There's always been numerous threads about departure and its just really hard for us to all read them amid the chaos that is the forums. A centralized place for this is appropriate and I think many of you would agree.
Remember the Incarna debacle? There were so many threads that could have been in one convenient location and a lot of stuff could have been liberated/saved. Now we have the DUST514gate, where people are posting about leaving over it, well have them post here! |

CCP recognize that during the course of gameplay a lot of friendships are made between players and that sometimes if a player is taking a break or departing from the EVE universe that they would like to say goodbye on the forums. Posts of this nature are only permitted on the Out of Pod Experience forum, and must be civil and well worded.
Thread locked. I'm not even sure such a thread would be fine by the Community Team due to the implicit permanently negative tone, but at least it's not against the letter of the forum rules if it's in OOPE. Feel free to re-post it over there.
