As someone with little PvP experience who is about to start seriously, I anticipate losing quite a lot of ships and being podkilled a lot as I learn the ropes.
When one's ship evaporates around one, leaving one in a defenceless motorized trash can, should one:
a) Sit there and smacktalk
b) Make an undignified attempt to flee ?
I would tend to think option a), but if there's any chance of it working I might be inclined to b), being a natural coward and miser on clone fees

c) Put a replacement ship at your clone location, and
a) Sit there and smacktalk ( that way when they podkill you, they're doing you a favor. )

Gee, I thought after getting podded you were supposed to warp away, get a replacement ship, then go blow up AFK miners and unarmed Industrials ...
At least, that seems to be the normal response

c) Be a good sport and very friendly, invite them to nearest station for their 'victory celebration drink', get them dead drunk, steal their hangar keycard, slip out in their ship.
... Oh wait, we don't have this option, yet. :s
