When I use "People & Places" window to search to people, places, or corperations, now do I creat a link to that info?

tried that, doesn't work.
If I try that the whole window moves and no link is created.
I tried holding shift then click hold and drag, release.
Tried, click hold shift drag and release, still didn't work.
Both resulted in the whole window moving and no link being created.

make sure you put it to the part of the chat window where you type, preferably with no other text in that box.

Trust me, it works.
Just drag the picture into the box where your text appears and it works beautifully.

think i know where your going wrong, you have opened the character window and are trying to drag that into chat. What you need to do is search for someone then when the result of the search with the names comeup with the pictures beside them drag from that window the char you want to link to into chat. dont open up their info that wont work

if you found the person you're looking for, add them to the address book. from there you can drag them around to link their info. The stuff isn't draggable from the window that lists the results of a search.

That is incorrect. I just doublechecked, and the results ARE draggable.

It works perfectly, just drag the result from the search results box. Don't try and use the show-info box or anything else.

Don't hold the shift key, its not needed.
