The Clearwater Society seeks players of all skills and professions. We are looking to recruit people, not accounts. As long as you have more then 500K skill points, you are welcome to apply to our trial membership questions. We currently seek:
-combat pilots/pvpers ->we offer all t1 ships below battleship at 25% off for full members
-miners ->we offer all mining barges (procurer, retriever, covetor, no hulks ) absolutely free to members of the Mining Division. Mining lasers, strip miners, and mining drones are also free.
-recon/covert ops specialists ->the details of this asect of TCWS can be discussed with a member of our High Council
-haulers ->industrial ships are provided free if it will be used to assist in mining operations
-logistics experts ->we do POS operations, and fuel logistics and transportation is a vital function
-anyone with dedication, big ideas, and the drive to succeed.
At The Clearwater Society, we do not offer an ordinary corporate environment. We are looking for people who like to view their personal info, and see that they have been a part of a corp for more then a year. If you cannot see yourself in TCWS for more then 6 months, do not apply. If you cannot see yourself in TCWS for over a year, this may not be the place for you.
Also, remember that we only accept those in north american timezones with english as a first language.

I'm a simple man so i'll keep this short. TCWS has enhanced my experience in EVE to an extent where i now pay for my account in yearly increments. I cannot see myself flying with any other group of pilots then these. Their work ethic, dedication, and morals are second to none. And above all, there is honor. Honor in battle, honor in industry, honor in life, honor in death. I can say no more about the Society, if you are in a North American timezone, you have nothing to lose by joining TCWS under a 14 day trial membership. I'd like to add a few details i have been asked to include:
-we currently operate in the Kador and Domain regions
-we currently have about 50 members, 38 of which are full members. The other 12 are on trial memberships
-we do corp operations at least once a day. You can expect 10-12 ops a week
-we are strictly anti-pirate, and operate closely with other anti-pirate forces in the area to insure the stability of the region
-we require teamspeak for fleet operations. It is also a prerequisite to join the Navy
-we require our members to be registered and active on corp forums

Although I am only a trial member at the moment, I would not hesitate to join this corp immediately. All the members are fun and knowledgable. There is brillinat structure and trust me, you will love Clear Water.

As you can see we have a few rather insane members. However, as i said it is a very tight knit group, and we all get along extremely well. I cannot stress the longevity (**** i can't spell, is that right?) of the relationships that can be made at TCWS. If you're looking, drop into channel "TCWS" and say hi, the worst that could happen is shaazz would eat your brain .
Also, in response to many questions:
-we do accept noobs. Newer players often develop into dedicated, loyal members if they stay with the corp they learned with. If you are just looking for a training corp, or know for sure you will leave TCWS eventually, do not apply.
p.s. If you speak Arabic, i apologize for Shaazz's rather offensive name

While I do not in general support the idea of open recruitment, (part of me questions the value of the individuals one finds this way) I do very much like my corp and want to help them out.
Soooo... If you have any questions about TCWS or whatever, feel free to contact me in game.
I am still very much an EVE newb (though I've been playing MMOs for years... I came here from WoW; don't have me please) the corp has done a lot for my personal growth and I have been able to be a helpful and contributing member. The combination of these things not only make me stay with EVE, (yes, sadly I was considering going back to WoW) but keeps me with TCWS.

I hafta agree with Rend Darkhand, this corporation is more than just a corp, its a home. We're all a family here, so all u fellow eve-players out there listen up. If you want a corp thats just as fun as it is serious, then we might be for you. We do everything and anything that enhances our gaming experience and helps the corp. As someone experienced in 0.0 pvp ops, i hafta say its good to be finally fighting for a purpose. Corp chat around here is lively and worth reading every time the damn channel blinks . Although i don't spend alot of time with this corp, in my personal and honest opinion it is the best corp i have been in so far. The atmosphere is very lively and everyone here seems to be apart of one large tight-knit group. I've seen these guys do everything from sucking down ore to fragging prats in lowsec. Our leaders, Jaidin, Dead, and Exortius are friendly and are active in supporting our members. The only thing lacking in this corporation is *******s. So if any fellow gamers lurking around the forums are interested in joining a community that means business and is planning on only getting better, please join up pronto.

Being in this corp made me enjoy the game more. Everybody here is friendly and helpful. I had people helping me get a new ship, fittings, money, and info and that is something difficult to find in many corps. Guys here share everything and treat you as family. This is why i try to help out the corp and all other new members with everything I can. People here care more about you as a person before anything else. I can see this corp being an important figure in the future as it has members who are dedicated and ambitious. The corp is a mixture of noobs and veterans. What I love about this corp is how its invloved in many things from mining, research, manufacturing, hunting to trading. So whatever you want to be u ll find it here...
I gurantee that you will love this corp + whats their to lose.... try it out and judge for yourself..

Holy hell we've gotten alot of bumps...and none of them STD related!.....Anyway, i would like to say that everything we are saying here, from getting miners and fighters new ships to conducting all kinds of business is all true. Nothing we have said here is some sort of recruitment scam, all of this info stated is 100% accurate and i stand by it. As the fleet admiral said, we are looking for pvp and pve pilots to join our navy. Feel free to help us give prats their heavy missile suppositories . As a high council member of the Clearwater society I also gotta say that this corp is exactly as it sounds, fun, tight-knit, experienced, contains a wide variety of players, and his helpful to everyone willing to help each other and the corp. Our fighting ops include everything from running comlexes to putting our lasers in prat asses....sorry for the *** connotation in that..... LOL, moving along, we got a family here, we luv to bull**** around just as much as we love to dish out some serious EVE ownage (in mining, fighting, trading, etc, pick ur poison). Oh, and here's a lil advice from the leader with tips on everything: Remember kids, when in a gang, always bring protection..... Peace out

If anyone here wants an example of how effective this corp is check this out: On tuesday this week we had a mining op in .3 sec space complete with 4 escorts, 4-5 haulers, and 6-8 barges including a hulk. For 5 hours this corp sucked down ore without a scratch on any of the miners or haulers. We do mining runs daily, often 2 or more times a day when we're not hunting pirates. Want a taste of this kind of action? Want to experience a corp like none other? Then do what jesus would do, join The Clearwater Society!

EVE-University is an excellent corporation if you're a new player looking for a place to learn. In contrast, TCWS allows you to learn and grow into one of EVE's best. You won't just be training with other newbs, as we also have many players with 1-3 years experience. Also, TCWS is not looking for players just looking to find a good corp and learn more about EVE. After re-reading all all forums posts (yes, every damn one ) i've realized that we've covered most aspects of our corp with all our fellow eve bruthas (and sistas ) out there, except for our government. We have a three tier government with the high council (Jaidin Amarrus, Exortius Amarrus, and Dead Angel)at the top, the elected lower council in the middle, and all our other corp members at the bottom (but definitely just as important). Most of the decisions in this corp are not carried out without firsthand approval of the lower council and fellow corp m8's and we care about everyone's opinion. Oh, and if anyone here is concerned about joining this corp on account of the war, please PLEASE do not be scared. We're giving these bastards all we got and along with our alliance (The Frontier Initiative) are keeping the kador/domain region secure. I personally have destroyed 5 of Pre-Nerfed Tactics members and took part in the gang that blew up their precious carrier. Anyone interested in PvP, Group tactics, or even group PvE should seriously consider TCWS! There is room for advancement in the Navy, all the way to the top for those experienced and willing to lead. Really, PvP is the very best of EVE and as a corp we are engaged in it for our defense and to help our allies. There is no better time to join as we are really gaining momentum and heading toward a move to 0.0 in the future.

Just to clarify:
The Clearwater Society is a semi-communist corporation. As such, all ore from corp mining operations is dropped in the corp mining hanger by our haulers.
In TCWS, you serve yourself by serving the Society. In exchange for you hardwork and minerals, you receive free barges, lasers, and drones. You receive 25% off certain combat vessels, and you receive all t1 ammo you request, free.
Pilots who are interested in making cash, advancing themselves selfishly, or having a huge wallet should not apply to TCWS.

Recruitment is halted until further notice. Exceptions are made if the pilot in question has spoken with a member of TCWS before this announcement was made, or if enough TCWS members will vouch for the candidate. RL friends are also given exceptions.
Recruitment will resume once TCWS is fully situated in its new 0.0 home. This may take days, weeks, or months. The TCWS recruitment thread will not be bumped again until recruitment resumes.
This has been done to insure the smoothest transition as possible into 0.0 space.
Also, we have witnessed the successful completion of phase 1 of our recruiting. We will now "cut off the fat" so to speak.
Congraulations to all who have helped us reach our goal of 75 members, and good luck to those facing reviews in the coming days.

First off, I am a fairly new EVE player (1.2M SP). I feel like the game opened up for me though, once I joined TCWS. The TCWS players are very welcoming, there are ALWAYS activites to jump into, and everything is very well planned and executed which I cannot say for previous Corps I had been employed by. We have BIG things on the horizon as well, so if I were a Capital Ship pilot looking for a new home, full of mature players that like to have fun...I would not look past TCWS.

I may be interested in joining, I would like to talk to one of your members ingame first. Heres a little bit about me. I started playing eve August of 2005, I joined a corp called KONG Glomerate, no disrespect to them but it wasn't my type of corp.
I ended up quitting a couple months later only to rejoin at the begining of 06 because my friend from a Battlefield 2 clan convinced me to come back. I forgot my account details and did not know you could retrieve it(lol). We joined Soban Industries in the Knights of the Southern Cross alliance.
That corp did not work out that well either so we left to join Crisis Corp in CHIMP. In Crisis I learned how to PvP a bit and what 0.0 space was like. I just couldn't get into being in 0.0 so early in my eve life and ended up deleting my character in a moment of stupidity.
So my new character was Haargoth Civire. Right after making him I decided to try my hand at starting my own corp. To make a long story short the corp is disbanding and I am in search of a corporation that will give me more time to PvP and just play the game in general . During that time I also learned that you can retrieve old accounts, so
I got this account back on and have been playing it ever since. Now to how I play the game. .
I enjoy PvP the most out of everything in eve but I also like to do a bit of industry on the side (mining, manufacturing, and a bit of research. In PvP I use a slasher for tackling and a Prophecy/Omen mainly for combat. I am working up the skills to fly an Apoc and Geddon and I should be flying one pretty well within 2 weeks.I can fly all race frigates and all cruisers except minmatar and I have decided to specialize in Amarr. I eventually want to get a Zealot so that is my long term goal. I am interested in staying with a corp for long periods of time so I think I fit that requirement. I have teamspeak and I am a pretty active player. By active I mean I play every day for atleast 3 or so hours. I live in Canada so timezones will not be a problem. I think I have written slightly too much since I am starting to run out of characters so I will end this long post. Thanks for the consideration and taking the time to read this.

TCWS is my 3rd non-npc corp, and it is by far, the best. If you are like me, and want a corp with team work and lots of operations, then TCWS is for you.
We have mining ops almost every day, and a weekly ice mining op. we have PVP gangs to fight off pirates from the system we operate in, and the occational pcp group looking for trouble (we are anti-pirate though). You WILL NOT find yourself wandering around by yourself bored, as there are almost always an op going. A few times, i have actually had to refuse joining some, dew to needing a break from it
Our manufacturing division will make small ships, and most moduals and ammo for free, and larger ships at cost. The logistics division will save you from the long, boring, laggy trips to the hot markets (jita, amarr, etc), and will bring ammo, moduals, ships, etc to where ever you want them. and the navy will protect you from those pirates that want to save the roids. (roids are noob, we must pwn them )
The managment are nice guys that you can talk to when ever you want about anything, and joke around with, as are most of the corp.
TCWS is a member of the ***DE alliance. They have their own space (systems with POSes and stuff) and have corps from all timezones. this means that at any time, there are people online. Not only will you always have people to talk to, but you will always have people to gang up with and protect you from hostile players.
so? what are you waiting for? TCWS builds you stuff, brings you stuff, protects you, has more ops to keep you busy, is fun to be in, is in a fair sized all timezone alliance with this own space.

If your a pilot who loves the game of EVE, who has ambition and is willing to push your limits at each stage of the game, then the Clearwater Society is for you.
There is a division for every type of player. TCWS members are free to pursue their own careers. TCWS doesn't strong-arm members into participating, the members do that on their own. There's a fever in the Society for more ISK, more kills and bigger ships. That fever has been around since the beginning and the doctor says there's no curing it.
