Lanfear's Bane

The reply was written slightly tongue in cheek.
The issue is becoming clouded here, the first pronunciation is in quite a high pitch, abrupt and nearly truncated, the second pronunciation is far more accurate. A basic knowledge of phonics and phonetics can help you understand pronunciation better. Also a reference site using a seeming 'Microsoft Sam' variant and then an incredibly poor phonetics model is hardly the best source for a justification of a racist arguement.
In the event that there ever was an archaic pronunciation of reneged that would nowadays appear to be 'politically incorrect' it is nevertheless still racist. I could no more challenge someone to a pistol duel and shoot and kill them then argue in my defence that it used to be acceptable.
The comment is, and was intended to be rasist no matter what you may try to argue.

Yeah, I was actually agreeing with you in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek fashion myself.
Ho hum, we've got the OP who has used caps to highlight the word in a clearly racist manner and used a number 1 to circumvent the swear filter, and yet all this still remains untouched in the thread. --- Knowledge won't help us understand |

Stop showing off by hyphenating, it's not big and it's not smart.

Nevertheless the OP was right about pronounciation, although I cannot figure out why he had to mention it. Still I doubt you folks know what he was thinking. Neither do you know him nor do you have some supernatural skills, do you? Just calm down and stop scamming the board.

Not sure how relevant it is but to be fair I've had some dealings with JEDI corp and they have been reasonable and completely smack free. I certainly had a fun time with them

Lets save everyone a little time and grief, never accept a 1v1 duel. Nobody is going to honor it, what you will end up with is either friends warping in right away or friends sitting at a station waiting to warp in as soon as their friend tells them he might actually lose with his invincible setup (apparantly there are several million different invincible setups).
The only time you should ever accept a 1v1 is if you know the person well enough to know it will actually be a 1v1.

Moraka you almost make me blush ;) ..hrr hrr.. we are here to enjoy EVE so smack is kind of useless.
Anyway, as a last clarifying statement. It isn't in the JEDI spirit to bark in and dishonor on arranged 1vs1. We keep our word and if someone is silly enough to go 1vs1 then they are free to do so.
That communication was lacking in this specific case and that the story my guys have and the one murder one is giving is different doesn't matter in my eyes. He can cry as much as he want when a JEDI member shots his drones him after a duel is done.
Anyway, happy hunting to yall and cya out there.
