Hey everyone. Title say most of it.
I'm getting HAC, got skills to use t2 energized nano with all armor compen skill to 3.
I want to PVE mostly, lvl 3 mis. and complex with friends.
I have a budget of 230 mil for it.
Zealot goes for 170mil, sac 100mil, so i could get 2 TS or Dark Blood EAN, giving nice resist for sac for just Zeal price.
I think sac is better price wise, but if ever i get into pvp, will i be useless ?
Or is the 25% RoF and extra low on Zeal worth more ?
Thanks for any anwser, but specially people who have fly both ship

¦ would go for zealot hands down. More damage, just better overall, and you can get a pretty decent tank on it too, if you just shell out enough cash you can almost get a sacritank aswell

Don't fly em myself, but I can tell you that the Zealot will do the LVL3 missions VERY easily... It can solo a number of LVL4 missions, so don't worry about it on that front. It's got decent tank and excellent damage. Not sure about the sacriledge though - might be better now than it was.

zealot is better for pretty much everything. You can go nutz tanking a zealot and it will still do more damage than Sac going full ganking. I use zealot for all lvl 4 missions. Compare to my sac on a none angel/merc/zazz/mordus mission, zealot is just faster at killing stuff and tank well enough. So go for Zealot unless and you will be happy with it.

I was under the impression that the sacrilege is overall a better tank than the zealot and can handle itself (just makes battles last a little longer)?
The sacrilege looks like it would be decent in small group PVP battles too since it would be a tougher one to take down, with the resistance bonuses and all...
Or are you all saying you can tank better in a zealot (without resistance bonuses) than compared in a sacrilege (with resistance bonuses and 3 newb wingman drones)?
Sorry I've just been looking at the sacrilege a lot lately and it seems like a good solo ratting ship =P

Sac got less low slots and no rof bonus. For laser, rof bonus is better than damage and zealot got both build in. So besides going in as a heavy tackle ship, zealot is better no question. Sac is some what hard to kill but it is also pretty harmless compare to zealot. In two small gangs fight each other, I doubt anybody would go take down a sac when there is also a zealot. Before ccp removed the missile rof bonus from sac, it was a pretty good interesting solo ratting ship. 3 meium nosf and 3 launchers was great along with some nice ecm multi in midslots. However, the patch killed that option. So now you have to use guns which made it effectivly a cheaper version of zealot. Thus, you might as well use zealot.
