Is there a link or a post regarding the best places to tags? I have quite a large stash and I am looking to off load them, but not sure where to do it.

If you go to the Criminal Dog Tags section of the Item Database and find a tag you want to sell - click the NPC market tab at the top and it will show you who's buying.
Edit - although for some reason that's not working.......

Theres an NPC buyer in Scolluzer that buys all the Caldari and Amarr tags.

No NPC's buy "Pirate" tags afaik.
I have 10000000000000000000000000000000000000 Angel tags that would net me about 4 titans if I could sell them to an NPC buyer.
If you DO find a buyer (NPC) for these then please, please contact me in-game and I'll make it worth your while to the tune of 5 million ISK.
This goes for anyone out their actually.

Pirate tags are used for agent requests only.
Empire tags can be sold, as they are the equivalent of bounties for the empire rats.

Just reprocess them for the minerals. If they are the rare ones, then keep them for agent stuff, but the ones that drop nearly everytime...just find someone to reprocess them and sell the minerals for isk.

How do you reprocess tags??? Only reason I keep them is cos they don't reprocess for me.

I highlight them with all the rest of the junk I am reprocessing; right click and then reprocess. They get done in the wash with everything else. Not much from the low end tags, but in the quantities some are talking...it would be a few mill if not more..maybe even a Titan if you had 1000000000000000000000000 of them.

Some specific NPC tags are used as keys to open bonus gates in agent missions too. Palladium for lvl 3 extravagansa missions (angel tag for angel extra etc.) and Diamond for lvl4 iirc
