i have been soloing my amaar navy agent lvl 1 quality 5 or 9 i do believe and some lvl 2 in my amaar navy slicir for the last 3 days, standings is at 2.21 and i need 2.8 to use better lvl 2 agents in station. what skills/implants or just all around playing do i need to increase the standings by more than .1 each time? its getting rediculous, also do they ever change the missions, talk about repeat over and over?

As mentioned, Connections will increase the standing if you have any at all. It works quite well at lower levels if you have it at 3 or so and do 1 mission usually you can move from 0 standing to 1.5 or so, allowing you to use lower level 2 agents.
The Social skill is also a good one for getting standings up. It increases the amount of standing gain per mission.
Combining the 2 you shouldn't have any problems getting agents that are above what you can do. 3 weeks or so of running missions every night with connections 2 social 4 should allow you to use all the agents in a corp.
If you are going to run missions alot or even just occasionaly, I would suggest training negotiation up to level 4. This skill increases agent effective quality making the rewards better all the way around.

You could try and trade some Sansha Tags with the agents in ships outside the stations in the starter systems.
They issue a mission called "System Cleaning" which acts as an important mission in regards to Faction standing increases. For around 5 Copper tags you could receive a +1.8% increase.

Wonder if I can con them into taking platinum or electum tags I have so many of the damned things.
