I think this pretty much sums things up.
People are already getting rig slots for freighters.
Just put cargo rigs on.

What happens if you make a fleet of Terran ships? That could obviously be destroyed only by a greater fleet of Terran ships.

Also by definition, impossible.
A Carebear would never put guns on their barge. If they did and took on a fleet, then they aren't a Carebear at all.

In the fluff they can cause every ship in ranges shields to invert and crush the ships, without fitting, you know, a gun. |

The irony would if the person was just randomly activating modules and thinking what does this do as another ship explodes. |

The Primae still has a use. It allows players on trial accounts to set up their 1 PI command center.
You can argue the value of that use all you like, but you can't deny that it is a use. |

I think it would be a very nice skin to put onto an existing indy ship. Provided it was purely cosmetic. It would seem no one understands that by "Replicated" you mean in appearance. It's really a shame they all jump to the silly assumption that you think we should get Terran tech. |

At the beginning of the EVE game, we capsuleers had access to tech one ships, modules, etc. Then came tech two ships, modules, etc. With the discovery of wormholes and sleepers came the tech three cruisers and their subsystems. It is rumored that Terrans are at tech ten when compared on that scale with the Jovians being five I think.

I think it was a shield inverter that chain reacted through the enemy fleet and caused the shields to implode in one themselves destroying the enemy fleet. Exactly! Replicated, as in reverse engineered to a degree. A ship that would follow eve tech but has a different skin, like your standard hatchback, its the same under the bonet, but different on the outside depending on the make.
Plus, I think everyone is forgetting that these ships in relic sites (the ones Im on about) are ancient, and probably only compatible to eve tech now (or slightly above, whatever)
Everyone is talking as if these ships are new, earth would clearly have advanced a lot since the eve gate collapse, but these were made before the collapse, a long time ago when earth was basically what you see in eve today.
make sense? (perhaps this needs re-posting with this in mind from the start of the thread?) |

They do have warp drive though, look at the time line and warp drive was invented before the discovery of the eve gate. (not to mention it was found because they had warp drive to travel)
and logically, how did the get everywhere in eve to colonize if they didn't have warp? everyone would have died or taken very VERY long cryo sleeps to get anywhere.
your point is invalid =( |

Pretty sure there was a colony ship with clean textures as of newly built one in last years fanfest graphics panel.... yep there it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WiRV8DtxO0&feature=player_detailpage#t=424 (from 7:05). It appears we were supposed to meet those ships in some exploration sites. And something went wrong. Not in Odyssey, not yet.
