Based in the delightful Essence section of Gallente space, the Dead Parrot Shoppe is seeking new and experienced pilots who are looking for a relaxed atmosphere to experience the galaxy in.
We offer a bit of everything to a player, from Corp run mining ops to battling pirates in corp PvP operations. So if you're looking for a mature, fun-filled, and relaxed place to park your frigate, give one of us a convo, and we'll be happy to chat with you in excruciating detail...

The Dead Parrot Shoppe has always believed that intelligent members is what makes the difference in the long run. To us, brains and a sense of humor are much more important than skill points.
We offer a home to pilots of all types:
Mission runners - the Parrots have offices in several major mission-running hubs in Gallente space.
Miners - we run twice-weekly mining operations, plus random low-sec ones
PvP opportunities - as long as you're not pirating, we're happy to come along. Mining overwatch in low-sec/no-sec, gate camp clearance, and before too much longer, someone to clear the unwanteds from the system where our POS will be.
Manufacturing - the Parrots have always believed that having a forge for the making of swords is just as important as knowing how to wield one. We competitively sell many smaller vessels, in addition to supplying them at cost to our members.
You want out of game support?
- Two teamspeak servers, feel free to chat, but it's NOT required
- Public/private forum with detailed discussions of corporate plans
All this in a corporation that's not even four months old, with members not even six months old!
The DPS isn't full of grizzled veterans, nor is it full of salty dogs of the spacelanes. We're new, we're fresh, and we're different. Most of all, we have a plan.

This really is a great group of mature Players. One of the best groups of ppl Ive had the pleasure of gaming with. Ive learned alot in the player oriented atmosphere. The Fun and relaxed atmosphere is great after working all day.
and about the intelligence part...how'd I get in again?

The Parrots are once again looking for new members. Our operations continue to grow and we are, as always, looking for people that understand community and what it means to be a part of a real and meaningful one.
-Mining? Overwatch for low-sec/no-sec mining is never hard to find.
-Missions? We have offices in all major Essence missioning systems.
-PvP? Yeah... we run into a bit of that. ;)

The forums are at forums.gofoom.com, but the public content is a bit limited right now.
We've been going through several mercenary wardecs recently, which I must say the corp handled quite well. Most fun I had in EVE yet.
