Hello,
I currently just came back to eve after a long absence, back in the day i used to run missions only but at this point probably that is why i quit eve in the first place, seemed like a routine, doing the same thing again over and over again and now im trying to escape that loophole :) so i decided to venture into manufacturing and research, im mostly looking into T1 atm while i skill up towards T2.
So im looking to know what could be done and what path toward the manufacturing and research road would be best for me, as it stands now i have 4 accounts with 1.5-2.8m sp, most of them wth 80% of those skills in mining, 3 of them already with mining ships t2 modules and a capital of around 600-800m ISK.
At this point my question would be, is it better with what i have to choose this manufacturing research road, or would it be more profitable to just keep mining/mission running?
All feedback is appreciated, Thank you |

To be honest if you want thrills don;t go with any of those options. The key thing for you would be to get into a good corporation, ideally something pvp based for fun.
If you definitely want to go the manufacturing/research route id say wait until the summer expansion otherwise you'll be learning stuff for 1-2months and relearning the new system. In the meantime try something else and you'll be more sure what you enjoy. |

While you wait for summer expansion, try some trading.
Basic: buy stuff (with buy orders) where it's cheap and move it to sell it (with sell orders) where it's expensive.
Buying low (think minerals and other building blocks), selling high and moving stuff around are the backbone of any manufacturing activity. |

The issue is scalabilty. Missions max out at a certain isk/hr, with not that much capital required. I've heard something like 50mil/hr is typical for grinding isk.
For a similar amount of training, production isk/hr maxes out as a declining ratio of profit to capital. 10bil isk in capital can easily generate 2bil a month in profit at a time cost of 5 hrs a month. By easily, you'd have to completely lack math skills to screw up so badly that you don't hit this target.
