how long does it take you on an average to kill 0.5 mil. rats and how long for 1 mil. rats?
whats the hardest rats you had to kill and how long did it took?
also, what kind of weapon and ammo do you use?

Goes pritty fast with my geddon with Mega Pulse II's and Scorch L to kill a Sansha BS (with 3 TS HS, my normal mission setup not gank) 20sec maybe?
I guess with Conflag it would take a few seconds faster.

i killed moon in under 2 mins with blasters and heavy drones. and he was a 2.5 mil rat, anything under a mil i just let me heavys eat them up

Depending on ship adn tactics used anywhere form 20 secs to a minute.
High damage turret BS get the best results. Drone BS take the longest, but can kill anything and tank anything far more easily.

I use a torp raven with 5 medium/5 light drones for npcing. Takes me just under a minute to kill Mordus Mammoth, one of the toughest shield tankers in level 4 agent missions. Most other battleship spawns goes down in a matter of seconds.

Torp Raven (8 sec rof) using T1 torps:
Any BS less than 500k bounty, 4 salvos
Any BS between 500k - 750k bounty 5 salvos
Any BS between 750k - 1.5 Mil bounty 6 salvos
The named BS guy on Vengeance - Full tubes +- a few more rounds

i use 800 IIs, drones and missiles, once i get into range for 800s, .5 million go down fast, 15 to 20 secs.
1 million take another 10 secs, it could be longer I never put a watch to it.
I switch ammo depending upon my target. Usually one of the high damage short range ammos.

BS less than 500k, around 1 min
BS between 500k - 750k, about 1-3 min
BS between 750k - 1.5 Mil, about 2-5 min
...but I use Enyo.

tbh, Raven is the single most overpowered PVE, NPC whoring ship in the game. There is no ifs and buts about it, tbh. |

just timed myself on one of the 1.1M bs from duo of death, the Dread pith Exterminator.
took me 37seconds from hitting F1 to him exploding, 5 volly's were launched. He was 28km from me.
have not timed myself VS smaller battleships but considerably less.

Npcing it might be... since you can pick your damage types. But pvp, na not really its mostly useless unless you are in small scale engagments. Ever tried sniping in a raven? (90% of fleet action)
But yes npcing it might be... but i dont there there is anything they can do about it, other then perhaps vary the resistances on ships so one time an npc is weak to thermal the next em so you cant predict each ship and therefore have to bring all kinds of ammo and change out. (dont think that will happen)

Took me just over half an hour to kill 10 0.5 mil BS and 7 cruisers that were helping them out, but that's in a Brutix...

i have need 5min. for a 11mill faction ship, with my ferox.
with raven, i need 6 volles for ships above 1,4mill.
sometimes i shot on smaller bounty BS only 4 volleys and let my drones end the job.

In my patented Apoc 8 MDCMII 0.0 Tanker/Miner/Ratter setup
It takes about 5-6 Minutes to kill one Angel BS with my drones... Sometimes a bit more.
But for chaining and mining at the same time, It does the job Perfectly. By the time a drone kills a rat, another respawns and my idle time is spent mining.

In my mega with T2 blasters once in range 29seconds to wipe out a 500k its like 3 volleys i think doing about 589dps raw dmg, but never met a bs that didn't go down in under 2mins once in range!

Can you share which launchers you're using and what relevent skills you have in the damage dealing department when you killed the named at end of Vengeance?

In all seriousness, I fly a Ferox, which can itself tank like a beast, but has problems breaking the tank of BS's. I use 4 heavies and 3 rails and still takes longer for 0.5-1.0 mill than is worth the time. Easier to kill a bunch of 80-100k cruisers in a few seconds.

With missioning setup, a 500k rat with full guns, launchers, and drones, (typhoon), it would be down in a matter of 20ish seconds. It takes longer for me with a ratting setup because I use nosferatu instead of ac's, but still 30-35secs I'd say.
