Hi all.
Following the trailer here, I am pleased to announce the full version of My Veto.
Now, I do realise that my premiere skills leave much to be improved, so I would appreciate constructive criticism. I also appreciate that not all of you will like the music, but I used it as it goes along nicely with CCP's choices for trailers, etc (vide Black Sun Empire), and even though I like the OSTs of most of the videos - I grew a bit tired of the Nightwish syndrome ;-)

Resolution: 800x600 (Sorry about that, long story about two monitors and premiere being hardly helphful:( )
Will be working on creating a better version in the near future, as the rendering times are extortionate :)

Hey MElla,
Vid is good but you just need to increase the text transition times..I read fast...yet was still unable to read half of what your wrote between scene's..:)
Couple of extra transitions between the various ganks and some background info popping up would also be cool if you can enable it without detracting from the action.

One of the best EVE videos I've seen to date. 
I disagree with the above criticism of nos. I have died to it plenty of times, I have benefited from it plenty of times, it has its place. It is no more over-powered than anything else. Seems to me for every cookie cutter setup of the month, there's a balancing whine of the month.
Dominix vs heavily-defended mining op was easily the best fight - those guys did everything right as far as protecting themselves goes, nearly had you killed a couple of times, shame their scrambling and EW wasn't up to much.
And the music owned.

My question is: How did Veto do so many fights at gates and not get shot with sentry guns? The enemies didn't look like wartargets...

Even the gang ganks were pretty good.
But what we need more of are insane crap like you did with the Dominix. Farjung does similar, along with Ugluuk... I love videos where one side is utterly outnumbered (1-3 people, with HP bars displayed on the screen) yet wins or at least does completely awesomely. Is awesomely a word? I don't care, awesomely 4tw.

TBH, the quality in the full vid was a bit dodgy, due to the split-resolution clips...
the quality in the trailer Ishkur_Complex_Massacre.wmv however, is mint and this is what it will be in all my next videos :)

Nice video, loved it Didnt get bored or even look at how long the vid had been playing for until it reached the end. As others have said didnt like the first track so much but the rest was great. At some times I was left wondering how they didnt break your tank
Favourite parts where when you destroyed the mining op and the "**** You" etc replies of people you tried to ransom also made me giggle.
Res didnt bother me too much as I could still read what you were typing. Hope to see more video's from you in the future. However would it be possible to compress it so it doesnt take so bloody long to download next time

Indeed, the compression will be better next time, as I will look into sound bitrates and also with better crisper reso. it will not be a problem to get the bitrate balance right.
Also, next instalments will be shorter, but more often, as I figure ppl want more action and fast DLs :]

Actually, i liked the first track. Its the sound of "emptiness" in space and combined with the 3 ships nossing the Raven, it made a good atmosphere.
I dont hate Techno music, but i think using techno through a whole movie makes it boring. You need some tracks with some sort of personallity that fits on each encouter, otherwise every fight looks the same. It basically becomes abit monotonous.
The outnumbering fights were ofc. awesome and i liked the movie overall.

I usually cut up my work in handy bits and actually using MS Moviemaker to do the last render. Why? Simply because I havent yet found anything that can cut the megs so effective and still keep a rather nice and high quality. Its of course always about balancing, mucho meg and great quality versus also letting the modem users be able to DL it
Anyway while working in Premiere, do cut up the movie in segments otherwise you will go insane

Was pointed to Your My Veto vid by Joraq after you took him down in a rax v rax 1on1 fight, that was some time ago now but he did mention that it was one of his best fights even though he lost, lol.
