There are 3 cosmos agents in Otitoh at the gate to Friggi which have a lvl 4, quality 20. Two of them are from Caldari Navy, one from Chief Executive Panel.
My problem is:
a) They don't give me missions.
I heard they need a standing of 9.8, so i got my standing to Caldari Navy to 9.81 (effective standing) and they still don't give me a mission (say "it's promised to someone else" and such..).
Some people say that a standing of 9.8 to Caldari State is required for them. Is that true ? 9.8 to a large faction, can they seriously demand that ?
b) There are a lot of rumours about what they give. Among other things i heard they would give a +5% missile rof implant or a Caldari Navy Raven BPC. Is this true ? If not, what would be the reward, and how hard are the missions ? (Don't worry about telling it, if that 9.8 cs-standing-thingy is right then there won't be a run on them for sure).
Does anyone have some reliable information, not just rumours ?

These three agents are only concerned with your factional standing towards the Caldari State.
Each one flies a different class ship and that ship corresponds to the Naval type of 1-run BPC the agent will give you.

Faction standing, ok thanks. Any idea how high it must be to access them ?
I just looked them up, they fly a merlin, a moa and a scorpion. Would not be that hot to get a 1 x run bpc of that ships, really. But whats about those faction ships, Caldari Navy Hookbill, CN Caracal, CN Raven that people talk of in connection with cosmos agents ? Is there maybe a thread or a fansite that has any detailed info about the cosmos agent reward issue ?

The first two talked to me right away but the 3rd wont...although I have the 9.8+ standing...
Any ideas?

The agent that offers the battleship BPC requires an unmodified standing of 9.9 now...or so the story goes now.

ok, im new so one question on these agents. Ive been running caldari navy missions and am up to a standing of 9.18. My question is, i want to get these ships from these cosmos agents. Am i going the wrong way. Do i need to find agents listed as cosmos somewhere and run missions for them instead of the caldari navy?

I would like to know with what standings the agents talked to you.
I got the minmatar faction frigate with a standing of 9.2.
Just yesterday I tried to get the faction cruiser but despite my minmatar republic standings of 9.41 base and over 9.5 with skills, the agent would not talk to me.
If somebody knows what standings you need, or if these ships are still there at all, it would be nice to know as ccp never, ever puts these changes in the patch notes.

I am now at 9.2 standing with the caldari navy. Is a faction ship available to me? I find standings a little confusing still (only couple months into the game). Or do i need to start doing cosmos missions to get these cosmos agents to exchange faction ships for tags?

You need a 9.2 standing with Caldari State (the faction), not with Caldari Navy which is a corporation.
