K-Space hasn't grown since 2005, while (so we're told) sub numbers continue to rise. So year on year the ratio of pilots/system has been growing for ten years, and continues to grow. The effect you see is a result of the upgrades system where people cram into little oasis systems while leaving the rest totally empty. We had 52 people in one (non staging) null system at the weekend. So while this system is in effect it doesn't matter how many new pilots come to nullsec, they all try and squash into the same system and stay exactly as spread out as they were before. Trying to hunt for DED sites in sovereign space will cure you of this "barren null" notion quickly.

Have flown through a lot of the space and no one is even there. Heck, even decided to hang out in a few places for a few days, and only seen maybe 3 other people flying through the whole time I was there.

It wasn't a good idea 11 years ago (when they actually did it) and its still not a good idea. I actually liked it 11 yrs ago. Eve was better before the super highways and crap like that. I made good profit moving mods and such from 1 empire to another and doing it all through low sec space. Now its little effort to just afk fly stuff around. Regional markets need to be more unique and death to Jita superhub Ok on subject..... Universe doesnt need to be expanded, I know of many systems in high sec that people would actually be in if they made those systems more usable. There are a ton of systems that are good for nothing. I dont think every useless system should be changed but there are areas that could be buffed to be even a little useful.
