Can someone plz list the all the different types of mining lasers between miners I and II, what extra skills yer need to use em(if any), and approx. market prices. Ta.

ep-s usually goes for around 2-300k, D/D 4-600k, xcels 750-900k, and vapors, 1-1.5mil a piece.

Any pirate that drops Miner I's eventually drops an EP-S, or DD. I've got DDs in 0.6 systems at times, as well as EP-Ss. For XECL and CUs, if they still drop at all, we're talking cruisers in 0.0 space, which IMHO isn't worth the effort since the loot nerf, unless you are powerfull enough to chain those puppies for hours (which I think is pretty much a BS w'Tachyons proposition since the new patch).
If you're rich, buy better miners on trade channel. If you're not, train up mining and astrogeology skills, as with a mining cruiser or BS you get a bigger bump with skills than with the type of lasers anyways. IMHO the only significant value in low-end loot miners (DD, EP-S) is their reduced CPU usage. This is especially important in a Thorax, but Electronics 3 still makes it possible to mount 5 miner 1s on a Thorax and still run a shield booster and ABs.
