But being able to transfer from account to account for free would also make Multiple Character Training useless. A lot more people would be doing it. Besides... if everyone consolidated characters on accounts like that, even if they did dual training on the accounts, it'd make the subscription numbers drop drastically, and I am sure CCP wouldn't want that. They like touting that 500k number, though they haven't done that in a long time as far as I know or seen. They didn't even reveal the numbers like they normally do around CSM elections.

Switching accounts lets you avoid corp recruitment investigation by way of alts on the same account. The 2 PLEX should be there to prevent jumping accounts from becoming the new "best known method" for spies who don't plan each pilot slot ahead of time. You should never rob a corp for less than 5 PLEX anyway, waste of time. Accounts may not be used for business purposes.
