I am running my first combat missions. My mission is to shoot down 3 angel thugs (I think) and 1 angel outlaw. I got lucky and entered an asteroid belt and shot down three angel thugs. However this system must have like 20 -25 asteroid belts and the system is so large that it takes two warp attempts to get all the way across.
Is there a function in the game that will locate specific pirates in a system. Or is that just the breaks of the game, sometimes you get lucky sometimes you are going to spend hours looking for your target.

Right click. Select from bottom list, something like mission name and warp to there. ---------------- RecruitMe@NOINT!

As Jenny says, try right clicking in space, and choosing the agent mission at the bottom of the list.
Agent missions are always generated in a specific place and you're given a bookmark to get there

Not this one, the link is only the system which I am currently in and thats it. If you try to right click it just give me a show info. I cant warp to or nothin. It doesnt indicate belt moon or station or any other reference point to warp to.

Something's wrong here. If you were given a mission to shoot four specific pirates, as you say .. then you definitely should have a destination bookmark to fly to.
It may not be in the same system as your agent, so you might have to jump somewhere to find it. Open your journal, look under "missions", and read the details on it to see what's going on. ________________________________________________

Then your probably in the wrong system, check you journal and verify the system the mission objective is located in. Only missions that will not give objective waypoints (they still give agent home) waypoints are the supply type missions.

Agreed, your in the wrong System. Your Journal entry will have the correct System you need to be in which it so happens you can right click and select, "Set Destination". Then hit that autopilot. ___________________________________

Nope, I got it. I was in the right system. I tried to right click the link a couple of times and it didnt work again however when I warped to the far side of the system I thought I would try it again and it worked.
I think it might have tried it too close to the station or mabee it was a little buggy and I was too close to the objective point or something. Because when I was done, I was able to warp back to the station, however it was really close by.
I dont know if this helps or not for other people.
