You would know them when they walked in in the old days.
The auto-door would open with a whisking sound and the bar room would go stone quiet.
The shape in the door would unfold into a solid person with a white 10 gallon hat,tan uniform and the shiniest black boots a person has ever seen.
What would really catch the crowds eye though were the 2 chrome plated auto-shock pistols strapped to his/her thigh's and the shiny golden badge pinned to his/her shirt.
this was a force to be reckoned with, there was no doubt in the crowds mind.
Now a few of the really evil ones would contemplate making a move but alas...in the end would not do anything after further consideration of the situation.
Now my Great Grandfather told me about these Proud,Just, Lawdealing men.
I was wondering if any still existed?

Dont worry my lady, we are still around.
Although we have been busy to acquire around 50 pairs of snake-leather boots and shiny sheriff-stars for our members.
Serious now - we are more active than ever before, securing a part of the Eve-universe at the moment.
Of course I cant tell you details about our raids against the bad guys, but we attack camped gates/systems nearly every day.

I seen in one of your recruitment threads a while back that you had problems recruiting, was that correct?.
I liked the idea of EVE Marshals.
The only problems i see though, having a full corp dedicated to Rat Killing, is the rats arnt stupid. They see a system start to fill up with ppl from your corp they now why you a there.

no not so much problems..... plenty of people want to join...however given the busness we are in, we have to be carefull as to who we take on.
as do all corps in this day and age.

EVE Marshals, is still alive and kicking. We haven't been that active recently as we have just completed a little restructuring within the corporation.
I'm not going to get into an arguement with any of the dim wits out that want to slag us off, but needless to say those people who have spoken to us and operate in the same area of space as us, know what we stand for. |

SA was the root cause for my first battleship loss (mostly CCP's buggy game but they helped). We are not at war with them or supporting them. The closest thing that could make your aligation true would be someone that asked to help kill a rat with us. Its hard to keep up on who is a member of this that or the other alliance. And that could change depending on the hour.........

We dont have the hats, but we sure do have the badges. We respond to calls for help when possible, we hunt rats when we see them, we kill them if we catch them. As you can see by many different responses (most by rat alts) that we are following the code.
In addition we are allied with no corporation or alliance. We are friends of many law-abiding corps. If you see us flying with other ships who may or may not bein an Alliance doesnt mean we are in the same alliance.

Eve-Marshalls...what word describes them better than "puppets"?
Frankly, who cares where they have gone? We are better off without them and their brainless Goose-stepping in the [corrupt] name of CONCORD.
Someday, I hope that the Eve-Marshalls will see the error of their ways, and only hunt well known pirates. Hunting freedom fighters such as the members of my corp who have earned a low security rating by podding filthy Amarri slavers is disgraceful. The Marshalls should mind their business in such matters.

I think you guys need to go after m0o and Sin. No flashy flashy that big ol' badge if all you show it to are the local drunkards.
Get back to your RPing and take out the rats who deserve it. If not... your badge is just made out of items you get from a craft store.

in that we dont have a miner2 bp either so have to earn our isk the long way round.
wars cost money......

I have fought side by side with the Marshals, and died with them when needed. There are Amarri within our ranks. If you could for one minute get off your freedom fighting soap box. Take a step back to see your place in the universe. You would see yourselves as nothing more that a rouge cancer cell in a living and breathing interconnected world. You do nothing for the Minmatar but give us all bad names. If you really wanted to do the right thing you wouldn't be pulling raids on Amarri that may or may not have slaves. Concord may be short sighted in most decisions. But I assure you we are not. It would be nice if Concord would give us even a little of thier power to wield against the darkness. But they do nothing for us. They have not donated even one round of ammunition to us.
If you really wanted to do something right in the universe you would help us. Instead you use terrorist tactics against your percived opponents. Its a lot harder to get things done when you are trying to keep a positive rating with concord. It takes more thought than the nerve pulse to pull the trigger. Someday they might even see this and help us to do thier jobs.
You have the right cause, you just go about it the wrong way. That is why I have to do my duty and condem your lifeless body to float in the void of space. You break the law and you leave me no choice.

I have had many discussions with Viqer Fell. He understands who and what we are. I hope he explains it to you. We bring Justice to those that have been deemed by the Empires as Lawless and irredeemable. They have a security rating system to keep track of this. But as you all know almost all pirates have positive security ratings. We have a list of who these miscreants are. We bring Justice to them, wherever they are. I have no questions, nor do I have any misconceptions about the Amarri people. Some may say that not all Amarr support slavery...I say if you don\t actively try to stop it then you are reaping it's rewards. That means every single Amarr who does not do his or her part to bring slavery to an immediate end is passively supportingit, and thus entitled to the justice the PFM metes out.
The concept of a force which tries to hunt down known pirates is noble. CONCORD should hold such high ideals as the Marshals, but CONCORD does not...hence the reson the Marshals are needed. Does it not seem ironic that the very reason you exist is because of the bloated treachery of the very instituton you claim grants you power???
Eve-Marshals, a noble organization in theory....but the judgement which drives the Marshals should certainly reconsider its position.

All Marshals sympthize with Minmatar slaves within and without Amarr space. Right now, official policies need to be changed, putting pressure on the other Empires may help slow or even stop slavery all together. Operating outside the Law, and attacking those people without provacation will result in the death of more innocents and will only breed more hate, and in turn more blood-shed. I dont know if its a rumor or not, but I have heard that in the near future the technology will be available for Empire police forces as well as those that are contracted to determine if slaves are being shipped through Empire space. Those that do will recieve Justice from said police forces and will lead to the decline of slave trade. Radical action and thought no matter how "right" it may seem will only "complicate" the process of freeing those that are and were slaves. After this Amarr may have to make reprirations to those who suffered under their rule.
Continued attacks will only "feed" the fire of their propraganda machine as to how "uncivilized" the Minmatar people are, and this can only lead to war. And I am afraid that Amarr has the power in their corner now, and this will allow them to justify(to the other empires) more atrocities against the Minmatar people.
I hope all works out in the end, and I hope a lasting peace can be found.
Once war is found there may be no hope for the future of all the people of EVE.
