Hi,
So i'm trying to get my standings high enough with the agents corp im running that I can set jumpclones for me and my fellow Waylander member.
Currently i have 6.49 and the other guy hasnt done any missions on the same corp so thats all fine. I'm on my way. It shows up on our corps standings as 6.49...great.
Now the other waylander member is donig missions for another corp and has standings of 7.69 with them (again ive never done a mission for his agents corp so thats fine). But his good standings don't seem to be transfering onto Waylanders overall standings.
Why is this?
I was under the impression that your corps standings to npc corps is done on an average of all the members of said corp. But in my case only mine as CEO seem to be showing....
Is this right?
Best Regards,

It isnt an instant change, every down time the corp standing gets closer to the average of all members.
is this third member a new addition? if not i dont know why it isnt taking his standings into account

Edited by: Taurequis on 31/05/2006 23:47:40 Hi,
There are only the two of us. He's been with me since the start of the corp but has only today done his first mission on his good agent since the corp was formed.
Would that make a difference? ie the standing only being applied to the corp once a mission has been done while that member is in the corp?

Edited by: Lorette on 01/06/2006 04:26:03 If a corp memeber has never run a mission for a certain corp/faction he counts as a null change.
ie you have 9.99 with say gallente navy he has never had a +/- change to his (ie that corp doesnt even come up in his 'standing's' page) then its not used to find the overall standing of the corp. result: corps standing is 9.99
Now if he runs a mission and get +0.05 or so then its now... You: 9.99 him: 0.05 avg: 5.02

hmm just reread the original post and not sure if ^ is the answer your looking for, if not just disreguard it.

Hi,
Thanks for that, but yeah not quite what i was meaning.
I'm off home for my lunch in ten so i'll check if his standings are now being applied to the corp. I found out that he hasnt run a mission for his good agent/npc corp since joining so it may be that it applies after that.

Hi,
Ok i'm confused. Ive done no missions on his good corp (kaalakiota) and he as a rating of 7.9. But its come up after downtime as our overall corp standings of 3.45.
Why is this when ive not got any standing towards them that its halving it?
Especially since my good agent corp (which similarly he has no standing for) shows up on our Waylander standings as the almost full 6.43??!?!
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Best Regards,

You are the victim of 2 "cpu saving features" of CCP... 1) Standing is calculated with delay (my observation: each DT) 2) "No standing" is not calculated.
Example: you have standing X to a corp and you are alone in the corp you will get each day the half of the delta between your standing and the Corp-Standing as increment. X=10: 5->7.5->8.75 If the other guy has no standing, it is calculated in the same way.
But if the other one has a standing of of 6 your corp will never reach 8 X1=6;X2=10 -> avg 8 X=8: 4->6->7->7.5->7.75->.... wait until Kali++
