it's a start anyway.
try: 4 siege 2, 4 800s t2 2 named targetpainters (best named) 1 named disruptor, ab t2 3 bcu t2, 3 gyros t2, med repper t2 and t2 hvy drones.
if you wanna use t2 targetpainters, downgrade the 800s to dual650s, should fit with a fleeting disruptor (tightly), if you have a tackler with you, you could switch that disruptor either for another painter t2, a tracking comp t2 or (with dual425t2) to a named multispec.

nobody but nobody... said sniper typhoonn BUT ABSOLUTELY nobody! no balls!! i seen a wolf dead in 1 volley hahaha... and boy a lot of good fun with sniper typhoon... get ur skills up and than we talking ... i like to see a tempeast freack talking about typhoon.. than we could talk.. all i could see here are mega pilot`s .. raven pilot`s and some ammar... but not one single minmatar damage champion.. go stand in the corner! 1 3.6k wrecking ht on t3mpest... try a phoon and tell me what happends!! STAND AND DELIVER!!! |

and that makes a wolley damage of 6769.08 with hits. " with quake "
do that on a typhoon... so typhoon sucks at using arts aswell..

Heavy drones t2
Can take a fair beating, while sustaining good enough damage to kill most things floating around. Can swap the damage control for a damage mod ofc, but I just like that extra bit of tank.
oh and requires adv. Wep. Upgrades 5. quite skill intensive fit Id say

The Typhoon has not rencetly been used much because most fleets have been leaning towards long range battles and the Tempest is better than the Phoon at that. But what the Phoon can do is get in close and wreak some havoc.
Testy is not suggesting that a bunch of BS's all equip for close range and warp into the midst of a sniper fleet, he is in fact suggesting a mixed fleet of close range and long range ships. The typhoon setup like me mentioned goes in close with the rest of the frig and inty support to engage their sniping ships like a tempest or Apoc or Geddon and wreak havoc on them while being to close for their guns to track effectively and still output decent damage. Not using the typhoon at the 10-20 km range but at the 5m range to bump and wreak havoc inside the enemy fleet. The reps would be able to keep up with the damage of the support and drones that would be attacking it unless most of the enemy fleet engaged the typhoon and let the rest of it's fleet pound on them from afar while they dealt with the Phoon.
It is obviously not going to go in there solo to solo tackle a BS or a cruiser that could potentially outrun and escape it's scrambler. That's what the rest of the fleet's tacklers are for. In smaller fleets(read not blobs) it could be very effective to disrupt enemy snipers from having the run of the battle if they have to deal with BS sized ships in close range engagements while ALSO dealing with the other snipers in the enemy fleet. Could also be useful to bum the hell out of people trying to save their sniping BS's by runnig away.
As for surviving this nearly sucidal job, I would say cap is life for a typhoon in this situation. Hence the extra slots used up by the cap rechargers to keep everything running since these typhoons may not be able to sacrifice dps for 4 or more NOS. Just a thought tho.
