Probably a corp naming convention, b= barge. The first letter of the second name may have some reference to the specific load out too. It would be a good mnemonic device for corpmates to see the ship's role at a glance.

All of the covetor pilots are in NPC corps and are all the exact same age.
One of them was yelling at a guy in chinese last night for stealing their ore...

To save you some isk, I came across this idea here and am sharing it to all the people that cant stand macros. I myself am tired of them screwing up this game.  Anyways here is the plan.....
1. obtain a cruiser with a sizable drone bay. I use the vigilant.
2. train for logistical support drones. (large or medium armor / shield repair types)
I carry 4 armor repair drones. and 3 attack and hve them in separate sub categories so I can launch which ever type I want. For those that dont know , just rite click on the drone in the bay and you will see the option to do that.
3. fit the cruiser anyway you wish BUT leave room for an improoved cloak. reason will be explaind below.
Now that you have set up your favortie cruiser, now is the time to try it out. Seek out the location of confirmed macro miners preferably in a 06 system or less as the npc rats are stronger there. 07 and highr take too long and often never works.
Once you are in the system, cloak your ship and wait patiently for the NPC's to show up. Once they do arrive, give them time to target the macro miners. then decloak and target the npc's and launch your log drones and send them to the npc's to defend them while they are killing the macros. once they have destroyed them then recal ur log drones and using either your ships weapons sys or your attack drones, kill the npc's and collect the loot from the macros along with any ore they have. The Macros can not attack your drones because concord will pod them. since you are helping the NPCs concord will NOT come after you as you are not the one attacking players, the npc's are. All you are doing is temporarily allieing your self with the npc pirates. This plan beats the hell out of suicide kesstrels.

Meh, I just steal the ore, haul it, come back, and sit right next to them for 15 minutes. That usually gets them to leave for a bit. I just keep making my rounds though... I make a few million a day off the macro miners I spot just from stealing from them. And, if they're not macro miners, my apologies do go out, but... I haven't missed a pitch yet... so to speak.

no type just steal from them since really their stealing from you. and if they fight back boom, blow up the barge. hehe its fun and sometimes they leave and let you grab their ore they didn't work hard to get

I think some of you are having trouble with the concept of a macro miner.
If they are active players, fighting NPCs and yelling about ore being stolen, then... say it with me... they are not macro miners.
They may still be farmers, but there is nothing wrong with that. Some players choose to do this, it's their choice to make.

I like the idea, but it sounds like an exploit to me
