When I run FRAPS on it suddently drop to low-FPS and stops recording, why is that? Lost some very good fights because of it :(

Couldnt say exactly, but here are a couple of pointers to fraps issues I had in the past
Hotkey interference Check that the fraps hot keys (for screenshots, display fps etc) do not conflict with eve hotkeys. I had an issue with F11 being used by FRAPS for something, and caused an EVE crash if I pressed CTRL+F11 (scanner) while frapsing.
Low FPS I increased the Anti Aliasing and Antistropic Filtering settings for eve a while back, and it ran fine with the much higher settings. As soon as I hit FRAPS..... 1 fps... lag lag lag.... cruuuunnnnch.... Maybe check for that too.
oh and.... dont fraps fights until u have fixed it. Good fights > good fraps

Nope, I have all that **** off.
It looks fine when I am not doing much, but when I do something it all freezes up for 2 or 3 seconds and turns itself off. Makes me scared too in fights, never know what can happen. :P

Edited by: cpskatan on 02/06/2006 18:52:27 Edited by: cpskatan on 02/06/2006 18:52:11 I solved my problem. the thing is the disk's i have wasent detected in bios so the disk's had been running in ata33 slowmode or something. When i entered bios and re auto detected them it all works good again, You maight try that if its a secondery or third disk you fraps to. |

I had that problem once, the partition I was recording too ran out of hard drive space
