No not a scammer, but thanks for the thought. 
Worked for the mem implants in . . . . . well it is not important in any shape or form - memory implants are available everywhere in Eve.

A corp accused him of robbing their corp, but the GMs found out that it wasn't his account.
I suppose that's why you thought of him being a scammer?

Hey Enderweeks, What was the mission you did to get the memory implant. What type of supply did you have to get to complete the mission? Just wondering.... Thanks.

I got one from a "corp is expanding station and needs super conductors" mission in Domain region.
Of course some nice person/people have bought up the universes supply of super conductors and have them on the market for a minimum of 1 million isk - go figure

memory implants are rare for the mainr eason of the limited super-conductor availability in most regions.
Some folks are doing deliberate seeding but also cornering the market on super-conductor availability (buy em all up per region and re-sell at 100mil to keep market seeded and keep true-cost conductors for yourself.)
Then simply sell mem implants at inflated price as the sole "producer" of them.
Those with mem implants are (almost exclusively) those with superconductors - work it out from there.
Sorry to spoil any well made plans - must admit it was VERY nicely worked out system. (Took me a while to work it out.. obviously the post-dt market for superconductors will now go ape**** as a price war ensues... cest la vie)

Market is re-seeded every day at downtime, but soon plans are for it to be replenished throughout the day , and not solely after downtime.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.
