Just for anyone that's interested... Last night, our pipes to the Internet were putting out about 3.5 megabits per second to keep up with demand, and in total we send out a massive 25GB to our listeners!

Did your feelings get hurt? I am sorry but this forums are all about insulting everybody, and Mr. Blades was doing it in a amusing way, he was great and he apologies several times saying he just try to mock the forums... so if you are to sensitive. then why you read the forums... I haven't fine one in which they are not insulting everybody and everyone... don't give bad advertising and get over it...

Sure there was a heap of insults but most of it was called for IĈll say, and it was in the spirit of fun. At least I thought so.
IĈm sure the show will mature and involve some more serious discussions.

More talk with less music. Its supposed to be EVE talk radio afterall.
So what if the guy insults people, it still gives you something to chuckle about.

No, but it was still pretty funny.
All the insults were liberally sprinkled with jokes he made about himself, which made it ok. =)

I can't believe that anyone would be complaining about EVE radio.
1) Its entertaining. I listen most every time I am on
2) Its free. If you don't like it, don't listen.
3) Proves the old adage that some people will complain about anything. Others will complain about everything.

I plan to check it out. . . though game sounds, TeamSpeak & EVE-Radio might be a bit much to take in.

I have just started listening and I am quite impressed. Very nice mix of tunes.
Anyone have any suggestions for good combat music? I'll take my replys in another thread as it would be off-topic here.

Hmmm ... I didn't listen in last night ... are there regular traffic reports? "Gravity well in Luminaire still preventing space travel through system, congestion and delays caused by funeral processionals plague the Amarr system ... in other news, Techell corp finds its offices picketed in three systems but merchandise demands still outstrip the available supply."
Or is it a lot less serious than that?

Well if there is a travel advisory announced or people begin to notice getting stuck in XYZ system prior to CCP making it public knowledge, the DJ on air tends to let the listeners know. As far as serious news is concerned, my little efforts cover them from a certain angle, but not in a serious anchor manner.
