Hi ive been playing for a little while now and was woundering if its possible to do lvl 3 missions in assault frigs? ill have tech2 pulses and a tech 2 set up, but will that be enough?
Also whilst im on the subject can HAC's do Lvl4 missions?

I can do most of the lvl 3's in my Retribution. My skills are decent, but not that good. The only pain is the loot gathering....so I tend to use my BS equipped with a tractor beam for lvl 3's mostly. I keep the AF on standby though and if it's a low loot/fast style mission I will take out the AF.
I heard that HAC's can do lvl 4 missions if you have pretty good skills. I will let you know after 15 days. That is when I can fly a zealot...but then again I better train some more gunnery before I attempt lvl 4's....so let's say 6 weeks :)

Yeah, i've done all lvl3s in a Harpy. No probs here. I don't think i ever got worried about going boom either. |

HAC's are built for level 4 missions. I've used an ishtar for a while, and tried the deimos too. People are loving the Zealot, and vaga is often mentioned. And last but not least, cerb is also used vs the right rats in the thoughest missions. Afaik, they can be better than bs in certain situations.
For the level 3 and AF: I've used the Enyo on level 4's and level 3 cosmos missions. No problem at all. Keep the speed up and you're safe.

How about now with the recent change in sig radius on the AF's? Leave it to me to train into my Enyo a week before it got nerfed, hahaha. It's still a fun little ship to fly, but I'm concerned now about its ability to handle level 3's since the change. The only problem I have with it on 2's right now is that it can take some punishment while I am getting close, but once I get in near the bad guys, I'm golden. I have it fitted with rails, and might try blasters.
