I'd like to play two eve accounts at once. I can't seem to get it to work though. I have windows 7 64bit. |

Same way you play on the test server, make a copy of the EVE directory. Call it EVE-2 or something. ISD Supogo Ensign Community Communication Liaisons (CCLs) Interstellar Services Department |

When I do that it says: While we appreciate your enthusiasm to try EVE, we would also appreciate if you could limit yourself to using a single trial or subscription accounts only. |

in this case you can have either
1 trial account
or
x number of subscribed accounts
not a mixture of both - annoying I know, especially when training ~4 noob accounts up for a future mining fleet

The question was relating to how two accounts are run at the same time. Here is the answer;
Go into your Eve Online installation directory.
In the game's main directory, open the folder named "bin"
In the bin folder, locate "exefile" You may double click this to start the game and also a good idea to create a desktop or quick launch bar shortcut to this file.
Doing this will bypass the Eve Online launcher entirely and just run the game, drastically preferable if running more than one eve account.
The Eve Launcher is a pain really if you have multiple accounts, this way I have described to you is much faster and negates the need to have the game essentially installed twice. HOWEVER the Launcher's saving grace to me is the patching facility. It is better to use the launcher to download AND apply patches so I highly recommend your modus operandi with Eve is to use the Eve Online Launcher to start your main eve account, allowing you to apply any updates then once done, use the method I described above to open your second, third, and tenth eve account one after another.
I hope this of use to you and welcome to the community. |

I have never encountered this issue. I normally just hit "Switch account" on the launcher and it lets me launch another account. Is there a cause for this issue? |

If you upgrade a trial account, you keep the days on the triald and you get the days you have bought. So upgrading early is fine.
Technical part: In launcher settings you can check "Close EVE launcher after starting Eve Online". Start launcher, input credentials, click play, start another launcher, input credentials, click play....
Or after launching one game window, click "Switch user account", input credentials, launch game window, switch user again, input, launch game window and so on.
Or you can start the game executive file directly in YOUREVEGAMEFOLDER/BIN/exefile.exe
