I have a samsung D500 too, had a load of problems with it though. Soon after i got it the screen packed up, took it back and they sent it off to be repaired, apparently there's a little ribbon that links the screen slidy bit to the back that wears out. So after a month with no phone i got it back, then soon after it broke again. Now i have a new one and it's been ok so far..

I have no clue what make or model it is. Why would I care? ________________________________________________

Benq-Siemens S68. Nice big keys and screen, thin, aluminum (the front at least), no bull**** such as a worthless camera or MP3 player, and you can play chess on it, which > snake, and on top of it it's reasonably priced. Plus it came with one of them tiny bluetooth headsets. I would never have bought one seperately, but it's quite fun. It has EDGE (EGPRS) but no UMTS.

i got the nokia 6280 cant use the 3g yet as its not enabled in our area check with providers first if i was you ,, the phone is small for a 3g but i must admit the build quality is a little shocking ,,everything seems lose for a 2 week old phone if you leave the vibrate on it sounds and looks like its gonna explode ,it rattles and sounds terrible
on the plus side the 2 mp camera is awesome pics and video footage are really clear ,,features are easy to use
if you work in an office youll be ok with it but if you work on a site or manual job where its banging around in your pocket i wouldnt bother ,,
my womans just got an lg chocolate its a great little phone if your not botherd about 3g just yet id recommend that one |

A Nokia 3510i. It's ugly as hell, but I paid like 40$ for it 3 years ago, and it still runs as great as it ever has. Never had a single problem with it, and I've dropped it, thrown it, spilled drinks on it etc etc etc.

Had a SE p910i for 18months, it was awesome (best phone ever!!). I waited with great patience past the end of my contract for the p990 to come out.
Then they pushed release back to march.
So I waited.
Then it was May.
So I waited.
Then they said July.
So I got a Nokia N70.
Wish I'd waited

Samsung SPH-a920 they call it the JIVE or something along those lines. Its nice b/c you can put a 512MB card in it and toss a bunch of MP3's on, nice little set of speakers built in to it, perfect for the office or camping, the built in TV is nice and clear too......unfortunately I can't navigate these forums too well with it, probably for the best, I'd never get any work done.

Nokia 6310i.
I love this phone, bought it 2nd hand like 4 years ago and it's still going. This thing has been sat on, spat on, rained on, dropped onto concrete, carpet and dirt, kicked across the room and left on a 120 degree dashboard.
It. Still. Works. And it goes a week between charges, has buttons that someone not a midget monkey can use and most importantly, has no picture-or-mp-anything.

SonyEricsson T630. Looks good and *gasp* makes phone calls.
Yea. I know. A very nice feature for the mobile phones of our day and age.
Haven't had a single problem with it yet. Only beef I have with it is how easy the back cover comes off. In my opinion it could be attached more, uh, concretely. Not that it has ever came off when I didn't remove it on purpose but still.

Ive got one of these too. Its the spotty dogs ...
2MB pixel camera, Tinternet (Just put opera mini on it so I can now browse almost any web site), E-mail, quite nifty games (anyone remember speedball 2 - its still addictive) and if you put a big memory stick in it (1Gb) theres plenty of space to make it one of the best mp3 players around.
I am quite an old bloke I guess, but I amazed at just how many great pieces of technology can be squeezed into a little box that you can buy for just over 100 quid.
p.s. Oh yeah - you can also phone people up with it and talk to them
