Even killing (not podkilling, I mean killing outside of the capsule with no cloning) both Fatal AND the Rabbit should only get you about 20-50 years of aggression... -------- Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk [04:21:15] Mebrithiel Ju'wien > Nik's bio 4tw btw [07:38:53] Graelyn > Nikolai for Dev 108!

my personal preference?
4 std launchers (named/t2) 1 AB (named t1 works nicely enough) Sheild booster (t2/named) 1 Micro aux powercore,
Then the free mid and low slot can be alternated around a WCS (if you really must..) or a BCU, and a range of midslot bits. I personally like a webber for snagging interceptors...
works a treat, a bit of skills, and easily capable of breaking just about any interceptor, frigate or destroyer. will even make a nasty mess on cruisers or assault frigs if you're lucky, and agent running, is quite capable of doing lvl2s, and some lvl3 missions solo :)
works very well for me, though I'm sure that if you look at the "ships and modules" pages, you'll find a dozen other setups that work as well which other people use.
apart from that, that screenshot makes me notice that the background skybox has visible "seams" in it - does that come up for you always... and how many sides are there to each "cell" in the skybox? (I'm a 3d artist, and I've often wondered about that in eve's backgrounds... never had a chance to find out before :) )

Yea, it always comes up (I play in linux), and each cell has 4 sides...

Edited by: Drizit on 04/06/2006 09:34:52 Does that number signify something then? It's not even the max for a 32 bit binary number which is 4294967295.
And even the Y2.4K bug arrives 14 years too late. --

It's also 214,760,139 minutes. Or 12,885,608,340 seconds.
None of those three numbers has any significance, according to my dictionary of curious and interesting numbers. ________________________________________________

This is a known bug (corp time/agression 408 years) on the linux side. Transgaming (Cedega) is aware of this and a report(s) has been filed. The readout indicates this, but the timers do work normally.
As for the skybox seams, my bet would be you that have that are running ATI drivers. Same for the character portrait crashes. Of note, ATI has released new drivers which should resolve some of these issues.
With cedega 5.1.1+ (currently at version 5.1.4) and Nvidia drivers (8756+) the ONLY bugs of significance are the aggression timer (408 years) and the corp time also 408 years.
Down in the tech forum, we 'nix'ers' have been working on getting our systems going with EVE and it (for the most part lately) is working great. See this thread: Tech Forum
