Lore wise, it's there. We just have no idea wtf is going on or if the Jove are even alive.
Mechanic wise, it's also there, but it isn't for Joves. It's where CCP drops nerds for tournies and such. I THINK they test some things live on tranq there too. Aside from that, it's really nothing.

Walking in stations actually working
Clubs and bars and restaurants with seats 
Random adventures with toy rifters
Falcon has his own private collection of Playboy Exotic Dancers magazines which I hear is pretty damm cool.

Jove region and Jovians is just stupid idea from CCP... why have all the fuzz, News and history when we cant og there and Jovians wont interact With us? Its a utterly Waste of time by us players to even nagg about it, and its a utterly Waste of time and Money by CCP. Since they havent given any hints or info to make use of it... why bother have it on the maps?? Just remove that region, then the endless nagging about it will slowly dissaper..... like the fun of playing EVE also dissapers :D
PS. if u love doing endless repeating action that dont require any brainactivity, EVE is the game for u. So if ure a doornob, EVE will make u happy :D |

One trick you can do to actually "see" inside Jove space is to look at any planet in said space in Planetary View, and you will be able to see the nebula backgrounds for those regions. |
