Hi, i'm running some missions for Angel Cartel (located in the Curse Region) and been shot several times by members of Red Alliance, because of their NBIS-politics.
Last time i was there i lost an expensive ferox while doing a mission near a stargate (had no chance to escape). My question now is, how do i get a positive standing (= blue sign) with Red Alliance ? Is it possible to get it with the whole alliance or do i have to contact each singel corp ?
I have sent a mail to Zhbr, the leader of the leading corp, asking for positive standing, but no reply since a week now. Any idea who i should talk to and what i have to do for a positive standing in order to do mission in peace and not be shot on sight from RA members ?
Any help/info is appriciated !

Your question should be, "why should red alliance give me positive standings when they are currently being attacked on all sides?".
And just so you know, "I won't be any bother - I only want to do missions and make money." is not a valid answer to that question.

Look, if they are attacked by all sides, why would they make even more enemies by shooting people who have "Friendly to Red Alliance" in their bio ? Why making more enemies when they already have so many as you say ? And i don't say that i ask a positive standing for free, i'm willing to pay a fee or something, not too much though, caus they don't control the territory, i would still be attacked by others roaming in this area...
@Guy 2up: yes, expensive ferox. Try to get there a ferox, through a warzone and all the blokades - or minerals to build one + get the equipment shipped in. The prices are a way diffrent from empire prices.

Welcome to 0.0 space.
If they dont shoot you, others will. My advice, learn to warp away or log off (trying really hard to avoid the obvious RA reference).

Remove that "friendly to RA" from your bio tbh... its a much bigger threat to you than RA are .

it's easier to join a carebear alliance if you want to do mission, but RA looks kinda bussy atm.
BTW almost no alliance will set standings to 1 person.

With "Friendly to Red Alliance" in your bio is just an ivitation to be a target for far more people than there are members in RA!

Also keep in mind that a bio will not save you either. If I had never met you before, and saw you say you were a friend of my corp, yet you are in a n00b corp or non-blue, I might be nice enough to ask in corp if anyone has heard of you, but most likely you'd get popped.
Bio's mean little since anyone can write anything in them.

Trying to run solo in 0.0 is risky business. You might look for a Corporation to join that regularly operates in the region you wish to be in.
You can't really fault RA for shooting you; as others before me have said, your bio is meaningless because any "alt" can write anything they want, meaning it cannot be trusted. And stating that you are pro-RA is begging to get shot IMHO.
If you ain't blue, you are goo. That's the rule. I would not stop to read your bio if you were not blue.
That being said, there are a number of really good Corporations (both large and small to suit your desire) out in Curse; Coreli (shameless plug), Es and Whizz, Shinra, Jericho Faction, Taggart Transdimentional, and so on. All very good.
Good luck either way.

Well ok i removed that thing in the bio after i got podded anyways. I only wanted to show the RA-people who were living in that system that i'm not an enemy so they don't have to worry and chase me actively... . The the people who say "RA don't own curse", "Join another ally" etc, let me explain: As i want to do missions for Caldaris and pirates, i have only the choice between Angels and Serpentis, as this are the only 2 pirate factions that are neutral to the Caldari State (and vice versa). The agent i was looking for were some lvl 3 q 20 agents, situated in a small area, containing systems H-ADOC, G-0Q86, ES-UWY etc. for Angels and maybe HLW-HP for the only lvl 3 sperpentis kill-agent in the whole eve-universe. And this systems seem to be under strong RA influence, at least most people who are active there are from RA. So you see, i don't have a big choice among corps or allys.
Maybe -and your answers here show this too- it's really not that easy to do lvl 3s in a warzone with a slow-warping BC, so i guess i will have to stay with lvl 2 missions, which can be done in a fast frig and for which i don't need any premission from anyone. It just sucks that there are such fine agents and can't be used well because people have to make war exactly there. No wonder i hardly see anyone with positive Angel/Serpentis standing.

The very first ship I lost when I started playing EVE was to a RA guy in a Ferox who camped a gate in 0.4. I learned from the experience and reserved a special dark place in my heart to RA
Bottomline: Just shoot them, they'll do the same and that's just as it should be

Many people say you have to earn your right to be in 0.0 space. If you want to work for these agents, then you better keep a low profile. Even if there was not a war in place, you would still be actively shot as people fight to live in those areas, as they dont take to people coming in and earning isk from their homes.
You should thank RA for giving you a lesson. -------

Aww, dont be so hard on him! He is only doing what you forum trolls has allways told people to do. Leave Rens and use the losec agents. He has taken it all out and are doing missions in 0.0 . That requires some balls. Not his fault that he doesnt quite get the rules that people fly by in 0.0.
