I'm currently looking at getting a Legion and going ninja ratting in low/npc null. I'm wondering 2 things:
1- What can a legion run in terms of sites, and what do I need in terms of tank/gank? 2- HAM or Pulses? I would be up against Sansha most probably, maybe BR. Pulse give me more range and more damage, but suck on cap. HAMs allow for a good stable tank, and a massive semi-stable tank using a 2 repper setup. Which would be best?
I'm not attempting to make the ship pvp viable btw. I'll just carry a covert sub and a mobile depot for additional safety/traveling and play as safe as I can. |

Get on the test server, tryout as many fits as you want, and go do site. Best way to perfect a ship fit.
Personally, I'd try to go for a covert ops fit. Dps wont be as great, but you'll survive longer when moving around. |

Personally I love my Lego. Unfortunately most anything you can do with it in the way of Pve can be done easier with other hulls.
That said, for em vulnerable space go with the pulse depot setup. You can get stable tanks and DPS setups without having to worry about ammo along the way. |

Which hulls would you use for this kind of activity other than the Legion? Sacrilege has a slightly smaller tank, lower damage, though it does have greater range. Zealot has better dps by a small margin, worse cap, worse tank (by far), and worse projection.
BC hulls?
As for the covert ops fit, well I do plan on carrying the sub around to be able to swap out as needed. |

Well I'm going to assume you want to stick with the golden fleet or I'd say the obvious tengu or Ishtar as obviously much more efficient.
Those aside I would be speculating since I've not lived in samsha space. I can say however that in blood space my zealot performed as well or better than my legion with similar setups using ab setups. |

Can't fly the Ishtar, otherwise that would indeed be an obvious choice. I'll take a look at the Tengu. |

I use a Legion in BR low pretty regularly. It's actually beam fit; having the extra range is actually a godsend. |
