Well for a couple of days we've been foiled by this guy from BNC in a Harpy, his name is Greg Sanders, and he's been tearing the **** out of our guys, and provided bibles of smack in local about it.
And we haven't been able to do anything, it's been really shameful, cause we've been chasing him in inties, battleships, cruisers, and basically all the stuff we "n00bs" can fly in our few-month-old chars.
We got most of his fittings narrowed down, he was using 3 x 125mm Gauss guns, and that sensor-drone gun, sensor boosters, and some other T1 stuff in his mids, and two WCS in his low slots.
He probably killed 10 ships of ours, disrupting our ops, and excursions, and for every time, there was another essay of insults coming our way.
In the end, we were so gf-rgricking tired of him, so we switched tactics, and got some advice from a few new friends on how to best take him out, but it looked grim, we lost another two ships to this Harpy, and he was as gleeful as ever.
And then suddenly, for no reason, he attacks one of our guys while being outside a station, and he gets fired at by the sentries, and go pop.
All this time he's been calling us noobs, and other names, and suddenly he does this.
Got to admit that it felt good in the end, but bad in another way that we failed to accomplish that on our own, without sentries to back us up.

Ah well, it's a learning experience, just thought I'd share that having a large ego can sometimes turn around on ya.

Most of the time it's your experience that counts not your skill points. As you progress you will come to understand how this guy operated and how he made his decisions.
Get inside your oponents head and predict his next move and the next time he comes calling you can drop the heavy end of the hammer on him.
Still calling everyone noobs then getting pwned by sentries must have landed a wrecking shot on his ego. I'd never do something like that.
Well apart from that time with the proph but i was really drunk. Erm and that time with my fave rifter but again too much drink and then that time.... You know i should really quit drinking...

Doomsayer told me that sentries popped his (doomsayers) ship when he tryed to attack him ouside a station.
though that sure sounds funny. greg deserved it.
when i first started eve, i blew up someone, took their loot, then promptly went to a gate to sell the stuff

Hi Tobias,
Hire yourself a merc corp and have him taken out. Not once but until he stops fing with your corp. People get bored of losing ships. Good luck!!!

Yeah - just make sure they have references.... half the mercs I've fought against or with aren't worth 1/10 of the ISK they ask for.

One thing Tobias forgot to mention, most of the ships Mister Greg killed were noob ships, frigates, and shuttles
Oh, plus he hasn't returned since his Harpy went pop.

Sniping Harpies can be a royal pain, but since he wasn't using Spike ammo, long range cruiser guns can reach out and touch him pretty easy. Keep a Moa fitted w/ 250mm rails and a extender w/ thrm/kin hardeners and as many damage mods as you can, then go chase him.
It's the ones that have 150mm IIs and Spike that will make you pull your hair out.
