Black Ops bonus of 5% bonus to ship inertia modifier needs a change
Redeemer gets tracking speed - Helps project damage Panther gets ship speed - Helps tank damage and control range Widow gets ECM jammer strength. - Helps prevent your enemy from attacking your ship Sin gets inertia modifier - Helps extract from the field quicker when not scrammed
As we can see the Sin bonus is the only bonus which does not specifically help you in winning fights.
It is appreciated to have blacks op like the Sin which can align out so fast, but it seems arbitrary. Why Sin? Why not Panther? If you want to be able to extract the ship better, you want more speed too. Panther becomes the obvious choice then.
To strip away a potential bonus from combat ability for this extra stealth makes the Sin less able to project damage properly. A tracking speed bonus to drones or something would be nice.
Instead they should create a pirate faction black ops ship that specializes in the stealth role. Give other bonuses too that support the role. |

To be honest, all Black Ops need some love. Is it Hotdrop O'Clock yet?

The inertia modifier affects acceleration rates. Meaning more of a ship's speed is accessible in a reasonable time frame. Meaning a bonus to inertia is actually more effective at helping a hull out track turrets as it can maintain a higher velocity while moving in something other than a straight line.
Granted, all the black ops bonuses are crap, but the sin's inertia bonus is actually a bit less crap than the panther's speed bonus. |

going to say this....
I know people eye the widow and go oooh ahhh. To be of use, and not buy officer gear, you armour tank like the t1 scorp. If jams fail crap rolls down hill fast. Or you can go proper shield fit. Only good fit I have seen for this is officer multspecs (jsut a few points shy of racial) and shiny tank. Price, ofc, shoots up high on this build.
Also woth noting even bling not a sure win win scenario for widow. IIRC PL rolled a widow comp in one somewhate recent AT. The match did not go well for them. |

CCP has been been talking about a black ops rebalance 2 years ago and they haven't really touched them since. Kinda sad, I wanted to roleplay some BSG in the new Panther model :( but I guess I'm stuck as a bridger. |

The sin's agility bonus is wasted if you armor fit it yes. With a shield fit you can rely more on drone dps and kite out to range and it helps with that. Ideally the Sin would have a bigger bonus to agility. Instead of 5% perhaps it should be more like 10% per level. This might be noticeable enough to get a serious advantage.
Of course all the black ops need more speed while cloaked. They should be moving at speeds more reminiscent of being under an AB effect or even MWD speeds. They'd feel more black-opsy if that was the case. That 125%/level would be more like 300%/level. |

The Black Ops ships could use atleast a 10% damage bonus per Black Ops skillrank.... |
