Recently, I have started to notice a very BAD trend in EVE.
Noticed people playing for 12-23 hour sessions. Corps demanding people mine for hours and hours. People who wake up to change a skill. People who are obviously too burned out posting terrible or illegible posts in the forums. Some people are playing EVE too much. You know who YOU are.
I honestly believe that playing this game too long is bad for your health. Take a break sometimes and take time to enjoy the view.
This rush for skills, isk, T2 Ships is NOT healthy. The posts, the responses, the smack in local. The signs are there. It is time people REMEMBER that the object of EVE is to have fun and be SOCIAL, regardless of gamestyle (pirate, PVP, miner, trader, etc).
I am not trying to stir trouble but just voice one person's observations. If this post helps 1 person, then I will feel like a better person.
Thanks and remember to SLEEP! |

This is true with any other video game, or any activity at all for that matter. Moderation is the key to all things.

26 hours?! HA!! I started a Beastlord in EQ and didn't stop grinding until he was lvl 40. Took... 48 hours roughly (goes to show how easy the BL was). Petty weakling! =P... Though, I won't EVER do that again.... cause EQ sucks =P and I'm much older now.
With Eve skills, I usually have a few skills training all at once. By that I mean, if I need to sleep and I only have a couple hours left, I train a different skill and continue the 2 hours the next day. It's not that hard. --- --- --- ---

I've done a 36 hour EVE session before, was very tiring but lots of coffee made it all worthwhile, not sure what it was for tho >.<
