Concord killed me today.
The insurance paid for a new ferox although I lost some of my named tech
It wasn't even my fault, really. I was on a lvl 3 mission with a friend, we were ganged up. We were tractoring in the loot after the mission, still ganged up. Nothing was targetted other than the cans and tractor beam. All of a sudden Concord showed up with about 4 battleships and blasted me to pieces. We'd done a number of missions before this, collecting each other's cans.
I didn't fire on anything and I hadn't even locked on to my friend - there's nothing in my logs or his logs, they just came out of nowhere, killed me, and left 
No mossiles had been fired at all. The only other thing I had was a stasis webifer but I wouldn't have used it on a cannister, and the button for it is middle-far-left and the button for the tractor beam is top-far-right in my setup, about 6 inches apart on my screen.
I've put in a petition for it, we'll see what happens - has anyone else experienced something like this before?

Try and think back carefully, did you shoot any cans yo udidnt want to get them out of the way, or did you maby web or warp scramble one? concord dont just show up for no reason, somthing transpired to trigger there apperance.

well we both would have heard or seen the explosion from a missile and it would have said "your heavy havok m..." - nothing like that on the log and I did check my missile launchers and they were all fully loaded.
It's *possible* I webbed one, but they all came to me at 500 m/s a webbed one would be slower, no? Plus the buttons are at opposite ends of the interface. We didnt shoot any of the loot - I was careful not to (Ive been in 0.0 for a while).
Anyway on the subject of concord - can't people in the same gang shoot eachother, or is that just in the same corp?

If you had a security standing loss, you can goto "Character Sheet" >> "Security Status" >> Right Click on the loss where the incident occurred, and click "Details".
This should tell you what happend that day.
I onced got owned by Concord while doing the mission Illigal Activity with a mate, thought it was because I killed to many Gallente Navy Ships lol, anyway by doing the above, I found out, that one of his drones had gotten to close to my Smartbomb

How did you check when you were concordokkened to itty bitty pieces?
Petition it, either it was a bug or ccp will tell you what you did wrong.

Because my ferox had about 7000 shields and it takes concord about 15 seconds to kill that. Whilst my shields were turning red, then armour my friend said "what have you done lol" and I scanned around - missiles were at 33,33,32,32,30 - 2x Limos, 2x Mulketh, 1x heavy missile
Tractor beam was on, nothing else I could see was. Web looked off anyway, everything else was passive tanking. No drones, no smart bombs on my ship. I'd have investigated further but then as you say, I was put into itty bitty pieces, and all the explosion made my pod pilot spill his coffee on the control panel - I lost all readings after that ;)
yeah I've sent the petition and I'll wait a reply - I had insurance, it's just the limos and named extenders/web that annoys me. But I was asking, has concord been known to randomly attack someone before? If not, then I guess I *must* have done something, but I can't think what it would be.

Web a can and activate a tractor beam on it, and it fly at 500m/s.
If you first activate the tractor beam, and then web it, it will come to a complete stop.
Tried it a few minutes ago.

I have never heard of a roving band of miscreant Concord, something must have happened for you to be flagged as aggressing. Maybe there was some lag when you tractored the can which meant that the can wasnt in your group, or someone had done a mission in the same space recently and it was one of their cans you tractored.

remember you have log files stored in the eve/capture folder in case after spilling your coffee everywhere , you docked to contact a lawyer about sueing mcdonalds.
Team work is essential... It gives the other team something ELSE to shoot at!

i lost my first raven like this, happily pulling in those cans, thiking im clever whilst shooting npc`s, only to unleash a full load of missiles on my friends (not in same corp) can.

Did you have any drones out? And locked the cans or your buddy? They (used to?) attack locked targets, and if your buddy isn't in the same corp that might explain it.
This bug was supposed to be fixed but I keep hearing it's still around, not sure what the status is...

A loooooooong time ago (it might be pre castor even, definitely not after castor) I sometimes got messages telling me things like "you have attacked player x and must suffer the consequences" while that player wasn't even in the same system (and concord didn't react).
Of course, back then it was possible to put out mines, so it was actually possible to attack someone in another system (even though the reason for the messages is probably completely unrelated).
You wouldn't have happened to put some mines out a few years ago or so?

something similar happen to me i was trying my EW ship out on my alt in Empire and after about five minutes of doing this Concord killed me lukily its was only a BB but that was not the point. Oh both me and my alt are in the same corp we were ganged so this shouldn't have happened
