This is the info I get when I run a traceroute to Eve on url="http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=trace&Netnic=whois.arin.net&host=87.237.38.200"]Network Tools[/url]
Is this connected with several un-explainable disconnects I've been having over the last week or so? I am able to connect to everywhere else, national and abroad sites - but not eve-online. Usually lasts 2-3 mins - untill it's suddenly up and going again?

If connected - is it possible for CCP to do something about it? My mate just lost a covert op and a hac to this - myself I've been "lucky" and only lost 5-6 t2 drones.

Same thing here, tho its only been yesterday (twice) and today (once). I lose connection only to the game and the eve sites while everyhting else seems unaffected.
Someone told me in-game that he saw quite some other people lose connection all at the same time as i did.

ccp decided to move their servers over to hosting at Level3.
Level3 has problems for many months and they aren't able or willing to get their stuff sorted.
ccp promised to get more backbones linked to the server farm for more than half a year. Maybe one day we're going to see an improvement there.

What do you mean is the significant part of the info returned by network-tools.com?
The "Note: Many registrars block whois queries from this site due to the large volume of requests" text concerns network-tools.com itself (ARIN may block their whois queries, because lots of people are using the site).
But, 87.237.38.200 is not even in a network assigned by ARIN, so their whois would know a referral at best anyway.
The address 87.237.38.200 does not have reverse mapping, but that doesn't affect internet routing in any way.
Currently, the network 87.237.38.0/23, to which 87.237.38.200 belongs, is connected to the internet through two uplinks, going through Level 3 and through Iceland Telecom (the L3 route has the shorter AS path though, and therefore is usually preferred, but there definitely is a backup).
So, it's quite improbable that the disconnects are due to connectivity problems on CCPs side, but there are no easy ways to either prove or disprove that, just more hints (the RIPE RIS database doesn't show the route changing since end of March, for example).
