Citizens of the Federation.
For too long, the Gallente Federation has been at ease. We, the Sons of Rouvenor, have grown used to idleness and pleasentries. We now value the Interstellar Credit over freedom; we partake of the smell of Crash far more often than we sniff the rose of liberty. We have forgotten the lessons taught to us by Rouvenor, and those brave knights who succeeded him; we have forgotten that, despite the fact that our civilization is imperfect (as all human endeavors are), it is something worth protecting and preserving. We are the shining beacon of freedom and equality to the rest of the Galaxy; every day more people not just from the Minmatar Republic, but from the Amarr Empire and even the Caldari State emigrate to the Federation, seeking to start a new life and escape the bleak realities of the places they used to call home.
We have forgotten. And now there are those who would take advantage of this fact.
Have the Intaki and the Placid region perhaps been treated poorly by the Federal govnernment in the past? Has the Federation in recent years not done all it can for all of its citizens? One needs only watch the news to understand this. But this is not weakness of democracy. This is weakness of vision, of spirit. This is a weakness that can be made strong again.
The Intaki Union would have the people of Placid believe that they are better off seperate from the Federation - that the Federation does not at all represent their interests, that only a "free" Intaki people could decide their own fate. They are right - only free people can truly decide what path they should take in life. This is why the Federation allows the Intaki, as they do everyone, to elect their own representatives to the Federal Senate, as well as choose their own local government. In all other regards, the Intaki are as free to choose their own path in life as any other citizen. If the Intaki, as a whole, desire to seperate from the Federation, they need only speak as one.
The Intaki Union does not represent the voice of the people.
They declare themselves "supporters of the Idamas", and then slaughter innocents needlessly. They attacked Krysalis Industries, they destroyed the Gallente Republic Corp and scattered its remnants to the winds. They claim to support the Ida, and then act contrary to the very cores of that creed. They maintain the Intaki need freedom when they are already free.
Why? Why would they kill people who have not even tried to harm the Intaki in the name of "revolution" and "freedom"? Why would they attempt to seperate the Intaki people from the Federation, and lead them away from those they now call brothers?
One needs only look at the most senior members of the Intaki Union, Phantomas and Tomahawk Bliss, to understand what is happening.
Both of these gentlemen have long service records. And before they worked for both a Caldari corporation that was reasearching "new weapons for the next Gallente war", and for Ubiqua Seraph. The lead corporation of the Aegis Militia.
A new "Slave Reclaimation Station" built by an Amarrian religious organization near Federation space.
An Amarrian "reporter" interviewing Phantomas before all others.
A group of "Intaki seperatists" who will crush any group which seems like it could oppose their plans.
Given all of this, the truth becomes evident.
People of Placid... brother Intaki... these men and women in the Intaki Union do not seek to "free" you.
They seek to lead you into slavery and death.
They would see the Intaki seperate from the Federation, and refuse the protection of the Federal fleets. They would see you despise your brothers, and call them liars and weak-willed drug addicts.
And then they would allow the Golden Fleet to orbit Intaki as you are taken away to your new lives of toil and destitution, and the Confessors burn the Ida from your souls. |

I am not Intaki. I have, alas, never had time to set foot on the Akat Mountains. But I understand the value of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... and I will not stand by and let this happen.
Many before have said they would defend the Federation. They have either folded in or given themselves to the Snakes. There seems to be no one else, now, who will stand up before obvious barbarity and terrorism.
Therefore, if I must stand alone, then I shall.
It is done. I shall fight to bring down the Intaki Union - alone, if I must. Even if I and my crews must give every part of ourselves, throw ourselves to ruin, we at least shall perish knowing that we did honor to the legacy of Rouvenor and the will of our forefathers.
If none of this moves you - if you do not care for the defense of your fellow man and the peril to your own freedom - then I suggest you let this message pass and you continue to bury your mind in Sooth Sayer, and remain oblivious to the world.
But if I have stirred something in your chest... if you agree that the Federation, that the dream and ideal of freedom and equality for all people, and the right to live as a person sees fit is a thing worth defending...
Then stand with me as I drive these terrorists and murderers back into the holes from which they came.
Remember, it is not a hopeless war we fight. For even as the government struggles with the strangest, most contested election in our history... even as the people of Placid do suffer from neglect as a result of this... even as faith in democracy at home and abroad fades...
I can still hear the people sing.
For now, it begins. |

Thats the spirit. Warmongering Terrorism is a disease that should be wiped out of the galaxy like the rest of the Deciever's works.

Though you really should do some basic fact checking before trying to link them to the SPCS outpost. They did leave Amarr, after all, after the Grand Master Horm chose to not support their attempts to cause the Tetrimon to declare war on PIE inc in particular. I do hope God smiles on your 'crusade', Mr. Ricard, and that you kill those heretics you have placed into your sights.

you choose to attack us because you fear PIE more than you fear Intaki Union. You threatened both groups but could only come through against us, that is understandable. PIE are quite the fearsome opponent and the ones who have now begun to enslave your people. But well that is an inconvenient truth so we will move on...
anyway welcome to the fight Andre Richard. thank you for this free training opportunity. You will be recorded for your contributions to the Intaki cause and how you helped strengthen it's militia for the ultimate battle against the Federation. Forgive us if we do not focus on you though, we have some actual targets to deal with who arenÆt trying to use us to make a name for themselves.

I have not threatened Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris directly. Yet. I may be doing so in the near future, however, unless a certain station goes away.
However, Bliss, there is the enemy who hides beneath the cloak of civility, and then there is the enemy who assaults you openly. The former can be dealt with later, for they themselves are content to wait; the latter demand to be put to the sword at once due to their actions.
You and your ilk fall into the latter category. And I will do everything in my power to stop you.

Who would have thought it possible to hear such noble words spoken from the mouth of a Gallente? And yet, for the time being, all they are is words. While rhetoric may carry more weight in the Federation's Senate, in our State it means nothing without corresponding action. I hope you have equally noble actions to back up your noble words, Gallente.

er...okay what?
I just noticed that bit, there are two routs you can take to clarify to yourself that isn't true, we never tried to get Tetrimon to declare war on PIE.
1. Ask anyone in Aegis Militia and they can clarify that neither phantomas or I have ever even been around when the Tetrimon were doing stuff.
2. compare our employment history to the times when the Tetrimon stuff started to occur and you'll see we were in Contraband Inc. being mercenaries and not even remotely connected to Tetrimon or PIE or anyone else.
Normally I don't care if people assign blame to me over things i wasn't involved with because it make me seem larger than life. But i am a firm supporter of the Amarr, Caldari and Intaki side and an avid hater of the Federation and Republic side. I don't want misinformation to cause issues in this instance. it is just plain off kilter.
In fact we are friendly to CVA, AM and House Versium allainces. We are not taking any sides in the Tetrimon and wouldnÆt even if we understood what was going on over there in Amarr.

Edited by: Gaven Lok''ri on 07/06/2006 16:21:00 I attribute nothing more than basic bodily functions and the constant need to think loudly think that you are somehow important to you, slave. You always were a loud and obnoxious slave in need of punishment.
No, I had a rather more highborn traitor currently in your organisation in mind.
But that is not really the point of this thread.
As to Andre's pseudo threat against PIE... Attacking PIE wouldnt slow down the SPCS at all. Though if you want to prove that the Gallente are actually the warmongers I believe they are... go right ahead and start shooting.
Until that time, however, I hope God supports you against the scum you are fighting.

"An Amarrian "reporter" interviewing Phantomas before all others." -Andre Richard
Illumination on this point:
My first Article on the Intaki was with Jalia Kovac, the undisputed center of that which is Intaki in the Placid Region. Jalia came before all others some ten months ago, it is Jalia who i started with and Jalia who I will be interviewing again shortly as part 2 of my new work.
I make no claims on the rest of your comments, but please fact check when you use me and my work for your own propaganda. And to head the logic train off, I have never seen a comment by any Placid Reborn that in anyway supports the Amarr and I do somewhat detailed searches.
thank you.

Though I admit that even I have found their close links to the Amarrian paramilitaries of interest, I can't be convinced by the available evidence. If the Intaki Union intends to sell our people short by handing them as slaves to the Amarrians, there must be firmer proof of it out there. Therefore I ask that you provide better evidence. Now's as good a time to contact your spies as any.

I will admit that the evidence is perhaps tenuous, Mlle. Yubari... however. I've been in this business long enough to know that "coincidence" is a word people usually use when links exist that they'd rather ignore.
And there have been far too many coincidences lately for my liking.
If I can find more concrete proof I shall make it public.

Huzzah! The seperatists fight for no reason. They think they are underrepresented, that their needs are ignored. Do they not realise that the majority of Gallentean corporations are run by people of Intaki ancestry? If the Intaki government wants results, perhaps they should ask those in positions of power within the Federation.
Tell me what I can do to help you, Andre, and I will do my best to see that it is done.

After personal communication with Mr Ricard and much soul searching I have decided that no one who truly supports this great Federation and the ideas it stands for can stand by and allow the dangers of groups such as the Intaki Union to stand unchecked.
With this in mind the following communication was sent to all Floating Academy members this evening:
Quote: 2006.06.11 23:27 Ladies and Gentlemen of The Floating Academy our time has come, I would have liked to have had more time for training and building but history waits for no man.
The Floating Academy will be officially declaring war on the Intaki Union in 24 hours, in response to terrorist actions and attempts to destabilize the Federation 24 hours after that all combatants will be free to fire.
Not one of you will be forced to stand with us in this endeavour, any who wish to may leave the corporation and no ill will shall exist on our part.
To those who stand with us, this fight will be brutal, but you fight for something greater than yourselves.
Freedom is worth fighting for.
Josiah
The Floating Academy stands with you Andre Ricard, in this we can be both teacher and protector.

I have to admit, rhetorical flourish is never in short supply when dealing with the Gallente. People the likes of Andre Ricard claim that the Intaki are lacking in neither prosperity nor freedom. But freedom on whose terms? Freedom on someone else's terms is no freedom at all. The Federation violently quelled the Intaki dissent following the Caldari separation. They wanted self-determination. You butchered them into obedience.
Yes. Freedom, indeed.

don't be silly shemar.
Everyone knows we are hard-line Separatists allied with the Caldari and Amarr states and their support forces. No one seriously accepts that we are ôStealth Slaversö, it was just stupid. He should have just come out and said that he was pro-federation and wanted to put down any possible revolutionary groups with an iron fist as the Federation has done in the past.
Obviously Andre came to the conclusion that we werenÆt Amarr slavers (Bastables helps train us younger eggs for war against the Federation), or he got tired of being blown and he stopped logging in. Either way we wish him the best in his future endeavors.

oh I am quite happy to let people make up their own minds. It is simply for the benefit of young pilots who may not know the long history of your leaders in actively pursuing the enslavement of the entire cluster under the Amarr, that I bother to comment. 1) Amarr Slavers must be shot
2) Intaki Union is a slaver corporation because some were in an Amarr corporation (Ubiqua Seraph)
3) Krysalis Industries has at least one member from the same Amarr corporation (Ubiqua Seraph)
4) Andre Ricard use to be in Krysalis Industries
